Also, LOL @ the Han thing and the article writer saying "Remember, I told you this." No, I'll kindly remember that Jason Ward, JediPaxis, and Bespin Bulletin told me this.
Paxis is still saying he hasn't heard anything about Anakin being in the film, and he's been the most accurate with his leaks.

I'd watch. I kind of want to see Vong on the big screen. Star By Star is the second best Star Wars anything after KOTOR II.

There's a passage in the book where Finn outwardly denies he has a romance with either Rey or Rose. He says he talked about the kiss moment with Rose after Crait, but they are just friends.
Of course, that could change by the time of the movie. But hooooo boy are there a lot of FinnPoe winks and nods here.

Guys, don't do this to yourselves. You know better. You know leaks. There's no FinnPoe. The only LGBTQ representation is a lesbian kiss between 2 rando Rebels (as per Ward). Zorii is in the movie to provide hetero background and hetero interest for Poe. They had a thing. He wants to pursue more than just friends with her. She rebuffs him in a way that's played for laughs. What some book says means nothing. Sure, the writer's shipper preference may have seeped into it but that doesn't mean JJ read it or that he gave her the input what's in TROS. In fact, he did neither. David Yates is an obvious Harmony shipper which is why Harry and Hermione got the best scenes including "what could have been" dance + sex vision in Hallows Pt 1. That didn't change the canon outcome from the books which is Harry/Ginny and Hermione/Ron.
As for Finn and Rose, there was no change in reshoots for Jason Ward reported they were love interests as of April 20 2019:

Also, Jason's source, who said there were few scenes where Finn tries to tell/ask Rey something but is interrupted, was never sure what it was. he only assumed he wanted to tell Rey about his feeling. It's not the same thing. For all we know, Finn could have figured out Jannah was lando's daughter and tried to tell Rey about it. Or something. The source didn't know what it was and it appears it's no longer in the movie. It also seems that the MSW rumored scene, where Lando tells Finn and Poe something about Rey that shocks them but makes special impression on Finn, is actually Lando telling them about his kidnapped child so Finn relates to it more. It just shows how these things can be misreported because they are not first-hand info but change hands a lot.
So yeah, no point in pinning your hopes on books that always get ignored. You know the movie from leaks so accept that's the endgame.
JB1981 Most logical character to tell about "Force bringing us together" is, IMO, his fellow Trooper escapee Jannah. I mean, what are the odds to run into another Trooper escapee who also happens to be the daughter of the character who told you about her kidnapping few hours/days ago? Must be the will of the Force.That said, my guess is as good as any but saying the thing to Poe is more wishful reading rather than actual logic. After all, the Force didn't bring them together but Finn's decision to escape.

I am not claiming FinnPoe is happening in the movie because a book has hints towards it. I just thought I'd relay the information (from a canon source that has been marketed heavily) since I've finished the book.
I do, however, want to give a word of warning in general: do not live or die by leaks. They may know details, but it is shocking how little they grasp the full picture. That is all I will say.
I agree that leaks are not infallible which you can see in the example of "Lando reveals something about Rey's parentage...oops, it's actually his own parenting". What happened is obviously this: Lando reveals that he had a child. Lando is instrumental in pointing the gang towards the sith knife. Sith knife killed Rey's parents. Short version: Lando reveals something about Rey's parents...not.
That said, when some things line up, they are likely real instead of a placeholder. I have no doubt that Rey is Palpatine's granddaughter instead of that reveal being a placeholder for ReySky or Solo since you absolutely cannot tell this story with the latter reveal. It's designed for Rey Senate so Rey Senate she is.
Also, leaks got all the big moments so chances that they somehow missed super secret big moment X or Y are slim to none.
I just want to clarify I've no problem with your reporting what's in the book but I'm just warning people against getting carried away. Books and comic books have no impact on movies. I know that some fans cling onto "Snoke yeeted Kylo into the pit and Kylo used the Force to survive" but that's the same irrelevant thing without any connection to the movie.

Yeah, I really don't think it would work with The Last Jedi being titled as it was and very clearly referring to Luke, and then to Rey.
Agreed, Jedi Leia is bad fan service. Doesn't make sense in the context of TLJ or ST in general. Not to mention how much it ruins ST retroactively. So it looks like part of it survived (trained once, trains Rey a little, had a lightsaber). Leaks confirmed again.

I didn't even make the connection when I first read it; it could be Phasma, but it doesn't really make sense for her to be in FO captivity. She killed everybody who knew about Starkiller.
Either way, books, comic books, don't mean anything for movies. And as EU proves, can be de-canonized at any time.
Phasma will return in the 2023 Disney+ series "The Further Misadventures of Young Finn and Huckleberry Poe" as the new MCU Ghost Rider
It will likely go down as both the best reviewed and highest grossing trilogy of the 3 trilogies. Hope you enjoy that fact.
I think it will do well but I can't say I'm expecting either of these
JJ movies tend to review very well even Into Darkness. It won't be hard to pull off at all.

This means The Rise of Skywalker needs to be above an 8.00 to stay consistent and may have to be above The Last Jedi. JJ has directed movies in the 6 and 7 average ratings so we'll see.
Either way I hope it does very well.
Man it still depressing to hear that the best actor and person who held this trilogy up gets SHAFTED at end of the trilogy.
