I think it looks...fine? I would have liked something a bit more different like the Death Troopers (stupid name) in Rogue One

As sleek as I think the design looks, let's not kid ourselves. They'll more or less be functionally the same as regular storm troopers aside from one throwaway line from a scrub saying "wow these guys are a lot stronger than usual"
Ehhh. Not excited for another JJ movie. TFA was just A New Hope with modern trappings so I don't expect this to be brimming with cool new ideas, especially if one of the first pitches if "What if Storm Trooper - But RED??!?!?"

Yeah this feels like it really is going to be a Ben redemption, then he and Rey vs a Sith Army.
I would be into some Imperial Guards on screen actually doing shit. That would be fan service that would make this fan happy with nostalgia feelings. But, a red storm trooper does't cover that. The last movie had something wayyyyyy closer to that:
