I did a survivor activity to help clear out a area with two people. I cleared out the are, but one died and now I'm just vaguely tasked with keeping the other person alive. What am I supposed to do?

Yeah I make sure to never get into a car with low HP. Always gotta be prepared to lose some health before you can jump out of the car when it happens.
I guess you gonna have to take that bum to court to make him get out.It feels it becomes "normal" for my coop buddies to quit and rejoin games. Hopefully we get a patch sometimes next week.
I exiled a character on my last session but he is still in the community with the Exile button changed to "Cancel exile", does he get out after the day is over?
He he.I guess you gonna have to take that bum to court to make him get out.
There should be some water station around. It's not cheap though, like 1500 influence or something similar.Me needs water for my community but I've already built a workshop and a shooting range.
Does anyone know where I can find an outpost that supplies water? I'm in the plateau btw.
If you go to the community menu and pick show details on a character, you can mark the top box in the menu that comes up on the right hand. There you can see what gives them + and - morale. For example, my community has + for trusted friends, a character that is a practical joker, that they have electric light and purified water for example. In my community I basically only get - from not clearing out infections before they start complaining but it can be stuff like negative community members (with bad traits), fights due to low morale and missing specific buildings that people want. One of mine gets mad if we don't have a watchtower for example. My base status is "desperate" :( what are my options to increase their morale?
You need to grab a character and go speak to him to actually tell him that you want him to go.It feels it becomes "normal" for my coop buddies to quit and rejoin games. Hopefully we get a patch sometimes next week.

Is there a reason why you would exile a character other then their traits and skills being bad?It feels it becomes "normal" for my coop buddies to quit and rejoin games. Hopefully we get a patch sometimes next week.

Holy shit.... guess I better start saving up influence then.He he.

He did not play well with the doctor and dragged Morale down.Is there a reason why you would exile a character other then their traits and skills being bad?
Ah that makes sense. I've been lucky with random recruits. He did not play well with the doctor and dragged Morale down.
I thought I can get more survivors easily either way, since I have not used him and levelled him up, kicking him out made sense.
I started a follower quest, where they warn you to not switch characters.
The game ceashed, I reloaded and the quest is gone. Is it gone forever?
It's 1000 apparently. I was curious so I checked one out. Look for stuff like this:Holy shit.... guess I better start saving up influence then.
Thanks!
Oops. I mixed it up with new home base or something.
Oh no worries! My post wasn't meant as "that person is WRONG" or anything, just wanted to check it out for myself and show it :)
Ooo nice. I was too scared to try. Nice to confirmation.
I'll try that, I think it's less the game dropping very low and more it going a few fps below 60 and then the double buffering kicks in. Or maybe there's something going on with my performance, it's hard to say.I forced vsync off in the NVCP and limit frame rate with Afterburner. Runs pretty smooth for me with a 1070 at 1440p max details.
You know you could've moved your community to a different map, right?
Yes but I also wanted to try to start a new game without going through the tutorial. It's a bit harder, but you can randomize your starting characters. Of course the map is random though, so could have ended up with Drucker County again. You know you could've moved your community to a different map, right?
Some of ya'll are gonna think I'm crazy because at the end of the day it is inexcusable, but reading about all the bugs and glitches many of you have experience is somewhat a "fun" thing about the game. Gives it a bit of grit and character.

Sheesh, I did not. Thanks!!Did you talk to the person you marked for exile? Just marking them for exile won't kick them out.
Unlike traders, they don't have visible time limit.Ohnooo, I didn't realize for just how long my allied enclave had begged me for help and I also didn't realize which one it was. It was the one giving me the huge morale boost as ally reward, and they just left me. Ouch! Morale still sits at cheerful but it was a nice safety net to have.
Just another note to write to myself for the next playthrough: Do quests for the most important enclave asap.
Gonna further echo my opinion that other Enclaves are a pain in the ass. How have they been surviving this long if they constantly beg for shit.Ohnooo, I didn't realize for just how long my allied enclave had begged me for help and I also didn't realize which one it was. Yes.
Yes. So much yes :DGonna further echo my opinion that other Enclaves are a pain in the ass. How have they been surviving this long if they constantly beg for shit.
Be careful if you ever have to remove it. It will remove the last outpost slot, not an empty slot, so you can lose a good outpost while keeping the unoccupied one.Found a trader who had a computers book and the signal attena upgrade (+1 outpost.) I'm sure I'm about to get attacked by 5 juggernauts to make up for my luck.
Yep.Anyone else getting an horizontal white line going through the screen while at night on PC?
