List Publishing Date: Sun, February 27th, 2022:

  1. ELDEN RING(JP version) - The Japanese version of ER coming out on Top not the only the shock here but also coming out of nowhere with those GOTG tier reviews, ER charts at first place as well as recording a whooping 891,638 concurrent players just an hour or two ago and is now the most concurrently played Japanese game ever, beating Monster Hunter World(332K) by several thousands of players! Don't expect this game to lose no.1 place in the weekly rankings for some weeks and certainly not losing its place in the Global Top 10 Sellers for quite a few months!

  2. ELDEN RING - Another entry for Elden Ring, taking place at no.2 in this week's rankings!

  3. ELDEN RING Deluxe Edition - The Deluxe Edition for ER charts at no.3 in this week's rankings!

  4. Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Deluxe Edition - Deluxe Edition of the highly anticipated Witch Queen Expansion for Destiny 2 charts at no.4 as a new entry in this week's rankings!

  5. ELDEN RING - Aaaand you guessed it.. another edition for ER charting in this week's rankings and at 5th place!

  6. Destiny 2: The Witch Queen - The Standard Edition for the Witch Queen expansion charts at 6th place in this week's rankings!

  7. Steam Deck - Steam Deck purchases make up for a 7th place ranking, this week!

  8. Dying Light 2: Stay Human Standard Edition - Drops to 8th from 3rd from last week.

  9. TOTAL WAR: WARHAMMER III - Drops whooping 8 places to 9th from 1st place from last week but expected!

  10. Cyberpunk 2077 - Drops to the last place in this week's rankings from 5th place from last week.

In comparison to this, here's last week(February 20th)'s List:

Considering the enormous sales, hopefully From/Bamco are willing to spend the money to patch the PC version into an acceptable state.

The game's quality is practically peerless, and the PC version should be the definitive way to play it now and into the future, so it would be colossally disappointing if the stuttering issues were never resolved.

The same games taking multiple spots is always fun lol.

Elden Ring seems like an insanely big success. Almost 900k concurrent is crazy. Souls has come a long way.

I know one is Pre-Orders, and one is Launch, but what's the other non-deluxe edition? Unless it's pre-order and launch for that?

Expect to see the Steam Deck becoming a staple of these charts moving forward.

Hopefully this deters them from making exclusives of any kind in the future. Those games should be experienced by everyone.

Elden Ring topping the list was to be expected, but the fact it's the JP standard edition pre-order sub in particular that did so is pretty nuts.

Late edit: Looks like it was a mistake (which does make sense given the extremely high player count). #1 is now sub 432247, which is the ROW standard edition pre-purchase sub.
