I mean if you're judging for awards then you should take into account quality right?

You can have a film with amazing diversity and it could still be completely awful.

It doesn't help that some his most classic stories revert to common stereotypes revolving around minority characters.

The magical negro. The mystic gypsy who curses people. It's a noticeable flaw in one of the most prolific writers of our time.

I don’t think you guys should be so hard on OP - I’ve been seeing this being posted around, out of context, since last night. OP should absolutely ask some questions about the people who’ve been passing this around though.
