Its a flanel not another jacket
So fucking cool.
My only consern is that Axel looks a bit overdesigned. He's got a singlet, jacket, and then another jacket wrapped around his hips? It looks striped in the game, like a jail outfit?
Some time has passed too with Axel's beard. Wonder if Skate will return and be older?
Oh, sweet! Will do.I was at his show in LA last year. It was pretty wild and a one of a kind experience. If he's ever touring again in the future don't hesitate to find a way to one of his shows.
Would be better if arcsystem were the one to animate this. But my personal opinion this doesnt seem that bad at least for nowMan what a bummer of a reveal. I'm fine with hand drawn aesthetics, but everything here just looks flat and static. Wonder Boy looked great so hopefully this is some early work.
Yeah I know. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt that you were talking about the originals, rather than the 8 bit ports. Because why would anyone discuss the inferior versions when talking about scanlines, when the superior 16 bit versions look and play better...
I find that the game looks great, and animators must hzve put more work into this than SoR2
Yuzo Koshiro finished this track about two months ago. Forgive the sound effects in the first five seconds of the video.Trust me, I know exactly what Yuzo brings forth. He's my favourite video game composer. I'm just not sure he could pull off the dance/hip hop/techno inspired soundtrack anymore.
My dream roster
Axel
Blaze
Older Skate (Mix between Adam and old school Skate)
New character (big guy like Max)
Wish list: Have Adam and Max participate in the story, but as NPCs.
Ha, I literally thought the same and edited my post right as you posted
Snake lady is playable.
that would be interesting nowadays.if we can get a pure brawler (no leveling up/stat boosting) in the modern day that would be glorious.
That beard looks so weird on Axel. Yeah, I'm going to echo people and hope they're considering a darker aesthetic. SoR is a different beast than Wonder Boy.
Oh hell yeah, max was my main. This is cool and all, but if my man Max Thunder and his brutal Atomic Drop aren't in there... honestly not sure if I'd play it that much.
Streets of Rage was never that dark though. 2 especially was full of bright neon lights and lit up city skylines
The art style and animation are terrible. This reminds me of the new TNMT by Ubisoft years ago.
When he and everyone else says "dark" they mean they want a grittier aesthetic, not a literal palette adjustment.

I am sure they have them. They might reveal them later on.For me SoR 4 was / is actually Street of Rage Remake....
Not in love with the art style, would prefer a Sonic Mania style 16 bit+ pixel style with particle effects or something.
Also only Blaze and Axel?... Blaze was always my Favourite but surely at least two more characters should be in it?
Mixed feeling on this one....
Right?! The disappointment I see over it not getting a Sonic Mania treatment is... disappointing! Sonic (and Mega Man prior) have had long running histories to create the demand to go back to their classic iterations. This, as a continuation of a series that's been on hiatus for over two decades, looks superb.Wow it looks like the mock up concepts Mighty No 9 and Bloodstained had but as a reality.

if you like the animated parts of the trailer, watch Lastman(the storyborder for the trailer is Balak and he is the co creator of Lastman,if i am correct).Really.It's a very unique and cool tv show.
It's on Netflix in Europe i think now?In USA,i don't know where you can watch it.
