I really didn't have a fun experience with it at all, so I'm also shocked at the response on it.
Ok.
But it`s weird that some people with new accounts also got that discount.
It was fun for a round or two to see the sheer chaos on screen but nah, it should have no bearing on someone's decision to purchase it or not.
I dunno but I wouldnt have played it anyways and it would be dead in 2 weeks.
I touched it for a few min and quit. Didn't care for it.
By "so many", I meant any number above zero, because there's several in this thread right now and I can't imagine the multiplayer being the primary draw to this game for anyone and yet here they are, posting, unabashedly and with reckless abandon.
Yes, feels like input lag........@100fps.
Performance is great otherwise, 80-100fps @1440p / gtx 1070. (tutorial mission)
Yeah no change, drivers are all up to date too. I'm going to uninstall and try again.
Disable your antivirus, that worked for me and others. Initially I couldn't start the game either.
Ohhhh no, the mouse input is terrible. I don't think I can play a shooter with a controller, this is close to a dealbreaker.
It's basically an analog stick, where moving the mouse left will turn the camera left at the same speed regardless of how fast you move it.
There's so much negative acceleration and it feels like it gets stuck occasionally. Noticing some camera weirdness similarly on the gamepad, but it's not nearly as terrible as the mouse.
It REALLY is, and now I'm having trouble getting the gyro in the Switch Pro Controller to work. Ugh
My PC is getting quite old. i7-4770k with 16 GB RAM and an overclocked GTX 980. Dunno if that's low end these days, but it's definitely not high end. 1080p with all options on gets me 60 fps. I tried downsampling from 1440p but then I got too many dips to 45-50 fps. So it's not a great running game compared to other recent AAA multiplatform PC games I've played, considering that the game looks like a late last gen console game with a couple of "new gen" flourishes.
This keeps getting posted and honestly? In the Sunset Overdrive PC OT it's pretty much port begging.
It's rare that I get physical PC games these days, but that's really nice.
I mean a 980 is pretty much a 1080p card now, your performance sounds about right. Even my 1070 isn't doing 1440p properly in a lot of games in the last few years.
It looks like it just gets 1080p as maximum, if you select any other resolution inferior to it works, but 1440p or higher gets selected in the (awful) menu but does not get applied.
I'm glad I waited for impressions. I've finished the game once before, but I was looking forward to playing the game with super responsive mouse controls. Hopefully there's a raw input patch.
I know right? I am double dipping because of that physical alone. I swear if that shit's 20$ it's a steal.
Yeah, you're not wrong, but I expected to be able to push this game a little more considering the age of the original as well as the visuals on display. All is well though, the game is fun :)
1440p works fine. For those having problems, try going to the game's exe, right click, properties, compatibility, high DPI settings, and enable these settings (I don't know how they're called in English, so I'll just drop an screenshot)
