Nintendo never does stuff on weekends, and June 7th is the day the E3 stuff gets shown to the press.
I still think the most likely outcome is that one new model is announced in the next week and it isn't called New Nintendo Switch Pro. Doing my best not to buy into notoriously unreliable retailer listings. But hey, it's fun to obsess over this stuff.

Nvidia is reportedly halting production of the Tegra X1+ this year. That means any new model of the Switch would use their new chip, so any new model would have beefed up internals. That makes a Pro and 'Lite Pro' a more realistic possibility than a regular New Switch and a beefed up New Switch. What else are they going to put in their Lites when they run out of Tegra X1+'s?
