It's so weird that it's Luminary. They could have at least switched it to Erdrick as the default since that's clearly what they're going for, lol.

It's just Luminary. (I've only played All-Star two times at this point and it was Luminary both times.)
guess Hero's good now. Kaboom sucking was always his main issue
they're saving the lucas and banjo buffs for the geno patch so you can die happily

I don't have Rex's costume, but Tails, Akira, and the Mega Man fights weren't changed.
I think the only base game fight that got changed was Ribbon Girl's.
So that answers the question of what they do for fighters who were once spirits.

I only have the Rex costume as I bought Fighter Pass 1, but it's still Shulk (in Sharla's colors) to symbolize Rex.
IIRC...Ribbon Girl didn't even have a fight before the Min Min update, lol

Ribbon Girl didn't have a spirit battle in the base game, so that one is just new.
Ninjara and Cuphead are the only spirits with this special distinction so far, right?

They're testing the waters and trying to make sure no one notices them slowly buffing Bayo to her Smash 4 iteration.
Min min is fun to play as, but yeah like I said, not great fighting wise.

Yeah these clashes were pretty noticable against Max Brass-K Rool, I think that's going to be a big weakness of hers especially since it happens on shield.

also unlike other tethers or tetheresque things there doesn't seem to be a regular grabbox that comes out quickly? like, it can just whiff at point blank
