Not even halfway there, how can this not get a publisher looking at all the shite being put out?
Well, I figure I'll at least up my pledge if it hasn't been funded by the final days, even though I'm not really all that excited about the higher tier rewards. Hopefully a bunch of others will do the same.

This is the guy who cancelled season 2 to D2 and tried to silence fans wanting the game to continue, so I'm not exactly feeling sorry for this KS failing. Maybe he should finish what he began before asking the same fans who asked him to finish a game's story, it kinda helps with the reputation, y'know.
What thread? I'm referring to this.None of this has anything to do with him and I'm pretty sure you know this already. Why do you keep clinging on that thread when the evidence is against you ?
I thought it was up to MS to fund it. Did something change? I thought they owned the IP.
Well, to be fair, that is exactly what Kickstarter does.I don't think people should be trying to control what he is and isn't able to produce.
I wouldn't say it's obvious, the last 4 days usually are one of the points most spending is done, but it is not looking good. It's not impossible but they need to do something in the last 10 days to really attract new audiences.Sigh, getting the updates and seeing cool features is depressing because it's obvious at this point this isn't gonna happen.
I'd like to play it too, but I'm not impressed enough to back it.This is just getting sad now. This will be his third or fourth failure trying to get his game backed by the community. It's a shame because I'd definitely like to play the game.
This makes no sense somehow.I'd like to play it too, but I'm not impressed enough to back it.
I'm not confident in what's been shown thus far. This makes no sense somehow.
You would need to buy the game anyway to play it later, impressed or not.
Would you pre-order a game that you aren't sure whether you are gonna like it or not? This makes no sense somehow.

A kickstarter project on the brink of failing will not see the light of day even if I want to play it.Would you pre-order a game that you aren't sure whether you are gonna like it or not?
So why do you want to play it?
I like the idea, but not the present execution.A kickstarter project on the brink of failing will not see the light of day even if I want to play it.
A game I can pre-order has a set release date in most cases and does not need support from the community as it already has a publisher.
So why do you want to play it?
Is it the art style? I'm not in love with the blockiness of it, but the concept of the game is cool, I like murder mysteries and I'm a sucker for lively towns with memorable NPCs, so I'm willing to let the art grow on me.
Pretty much. It also feels... janky. Like they have cool ideas but I'm not sure they can actually pull it off.Is it the art style? That said, dude's reasoning is clearly bullshit. As if a single human has any goddamn control when it comes to publishers and even employers. It shows an incredible ignorance of how the games industry works. I know, as an employee in the games industry, I currently have absolutely no control over what I work on.
Also please back this everybody. ;_;
It won't change much (if it would get made). Not sure what you mean. The art style complements the game and the story.
do it anyway
