You don't have to lie to make reinforced glass, I have no doubt the glass they claimed to be so strong is real but I think there was definitely some miscommunication before the event about what type of glass was fitted to the stage demo car.
Apparently they didn't, at least not according to this article and the comparison image within.

Unless Tesla Armor Glass wasn't what they were using. I admittedly don't know much about this stuff.
Yeah but I'm talking about the big side walls. The way the top retracted was very fancy though
Or Armor Glass is a giant lie, which was exposed as regular-ass safety glass as soon as they threw a rock at it.
Either way makes it hilarious.Or Armor Glass is a giant lie, which was exposed as regular-ass safety glass as soon as they threw a rock at it.
The on stage results of the demo prior to the one you're using as evidence I guess
even it that was true, it'd still be illegal to use. So they "invented" an impossible material for no reason whatsoever.
Maybe, but that's a different matter from you saying they were lying and claiming as a matter of fact that they haven't reinvented glass, as if there doesn't exist many types of different glass with different strengths and durability already
it really doesn't. lol
In the future everything looks hideous and design decisions are made by an AI trained solely on the before photos of home remodeling shows. Tesla is developing this AI behind the scenes in order to disrupt the entire industrial design industrySomeone needs to explain to me why the dashboard is a faux marble countertop, it looks hideous.
And pay for.
It looks dumb as heck, but I like really dumb looking vehicles like the PT Cruiser and the Honda Element.
My car is getting there in age and I might buy one in the next five years.
I'm interested in seeing how the various safety changes necessary will make the car look.
AIs would make better car designs because they would consider aerodynamics, unlike this car.In the future everything looks hideous and design decisions are made by an AI trained solely on the before photos of home remodeling shows.
