This came up in the Sonic Community thread but is probably worth posting here, too. Surprised it wasn't already posted about earlier!
Essentially somebody is making Mario Maker, but for Sonic, and it looks incredibly slick. Instead of placing tiles you shape things with vectors so Sonic's trademark slopes are way easier to work out. Here's a slightly longer demonstration:
