Both games had Denuvo removed long ago. And yeah Void Engine is quite of a canibalized idTech5 engine that Arkane created for Dishonored 2.

Oh, you're right. I was thinking TEW2 still had Denuvo.
Well that confirms it's the engine/optimization causing the awful performance.

In that case, I'm wondering why it took so long to bring the games to GOG.

Copped 3make, REmake 1 and RE 7 gold yesterday on steam so this is perfect.

This is fucking radical, now people can play TEW2, one of the best games of this last generation, and continue ignoring TEW1.
