I loved when Aunt Lydia says, "she looks just like her father" HAHAHAHA
Yes, she was the one who first initiated it.Surprising how close S1 was to the book:

I can't remember - in the show, Serena didn't have anything to do with Nick and Offred, right?
It was in the middle of last season, so it's understandable to not remember it. Haha. Serena was there to oversee them having sex the first time in Nick's house (I'm not sure what to label this as--it's a house, right?). From there, they started having a relationship. Yeah, she's delusional, so of course she'd act like it's hers despite everything.I didn't remember that. Because it seems like they fully hide it. And she acts like it's her baby when she knows it's in no way her baby.
edit - I can't remember if Serena or June explicitly told Fred that the father was Nick...certainly they did throw it at him that it wasn't his child, though. Even if they weren't explicit, though, he can probably put two and two together about who the real father is, given that he knows Serena was in on it and the opportunities available.
The fact that she did NO damage to an old wooden slat garage door was the dumbest fucking thing ever.Wow she spends seven hours preparing a little bag, looking around the house, changing her clothes, listening to music, etc and she's surprised they get to her before she leaves?
This show got so fucking boring
Just a reminder to start watching now as finale airs this Wednesday/Thursday. I'd advise against binge watching unless you want to be super depresso mid way.
Nah, I think Fred's acting is pretty good. He shows nuance. Nick... doesn't.I figured it was part of the direction for nick and Fred to be so stilted and wooden. Every guy that's part of Gilead is that way. Though Bradley Whitford out acted both of them in just a couple of scenes last episode.Fiennes was OK in that scene where he had it out with Serena joy in fairness.
The evil people running Gilead don't seem too keen on using technology. Why are there no surveillance cameras?
Midnight.
It's finally done? Is this season worth it? As in, I know the performances and such are good, but does it spin its wheels too much? Feel like I've seen a lot of complaining regarding this.
I thought it was greatMan am I glad that I stopped watching earlier, shame that it went the way I thought it wouldn't
NawIf I wrote the finale
Hey Serena Joy, since you're the only one who knows where my daughter is and probably are privy to your insane husband's plans, why don't you come with us and help us liberate the entire country? Yeah let's go right now, we'll stop and pick up Hannah, and ride for Canada. You can also provide a temporary cover story until your husband wises up and puts everyone on the lookout for us. Otherwise he's going to hang you probably, or maybe just cut off another finger. Let's get in the car.
Uh, how do you figure? Also, my goodness.
June, you can more effectively search for your daughter, help the other handmaidens, or any other task you choose by leaving this place. Unless you're going right now to where Hannah is, she's not in any more danger now if you leave.
Im worried about nick, hebetrayed Fred on his face, how is that going to play out? Will he end up in the wall?
Calling it now -They all have so much dirt on each other at this point, that i think Fred will capitulate to any blackmail Serena/June/Nick throw at him. How they explain their baby disappearing, god only knows.
