If ya'll just ignored those people (who are definitely in the wrong, and I am a ''''spoilerphobe'''') and moved on with your day then this thread could have been about the actually horrible and disgusting tragedy that it's based on. When it comes to derails it definitely takes two to tango, and in this case I think the balance is clear.
But anyway, I'm quite glad (for lack of a better term) to hear that they actually decided to put a scene like this in the film. I know it's an R-rated horror but I can definitely see some Hollywood producer saying the scene should be cut/not added in because it would 'offend' the homophobes who absolutely need to see it. Reading about the events behind it is just horrifying, and unfortunately it doesn't seem like such an event is as 'in the past' right now as it really, really should be.
