I will admit the idea of switching protagonists midway through the game has me really curious and excited.

I gotta say I do like the idea of you play the loved one of the people you slaughtered in the first game. "Every villain is the hero of their own story" and all that.
As someone who wasn't THAT enthralled by Joel I gotta say this has probably been the most interested in TLOU2 since it's announcement, this is looking to be exactly where I wanted a sequel to go.
in this video dina explicitly states that joel and jesse are dead so thats confirmation, and ellie is wearing joel's iconic jacket, i dont know where this takes place in the game but that's that

And has there been proper confirmation that Dina is pregnant (likely from her previous relationship with Jesse)? In the leaked cutscene where she and Ellie argue, she tries to make her stay by telling her that they've got a family and that "she (Abby?) doesn't get to be more important than that".
Imagine if Ellie lives and she gets to raise her family on a farm with Dina. 🥺

Ok just to clarify about Joel: It seems like that scene is not the one he dies in, the supposedly longer Turkish scene that no one has actually seen shows him dying in this scene, but it sounds made up so far. The actual leaker that uploaded a lot of clips said in a youtube comment that Joel dies in the middle of the game (Seattle) not the beginning (Jackson).
This same person claims to have finished the game and said Ellie does not die at the end. These are just comments though so not hard evidence and could also be made up.
By the way the best thing to come out of these leaks is that Dina does not die and more importantly does not get fridged.

The 4chan summary doesn't really make sense with the leaker saying that Ellie is not dying.

We played almost an entirety of the first game as the murderer of Abby's father.
From what I read and seen , the 4chan leak is bullshit and the reddit one is way more credible.
The reddit leak correctly says that you play as Abby and fight Ellie
Did we have an emotional connection to Abby's father?
People might not want to play the murderer of a character that they liked.

How do we know this is the leaker though. I was gonna put this in the OP but then I clocked that there was nothing that really proved this person was a leaker or just reuploading footage that may have not been posted on Era specifically. I dunno, YT comments from a random reuploader who also said the game is 31 hours long on Hard don't really mean anything imo.
