Mega Man Legends is fantastic. Just a cozy bundle of lofi joy. It needs to be reintroduced to the world.

If they do a remaster I would really want reworked controls and camera. Hopefully it comes along.

i finally ran through 1 on PSX earlier this year and had an absolute blast with it - controls were rough for some fights, but that was the era

can't wait to dive into 2 & tron, hell yeah i'd be on a collection day 1

A proper collection should include Mega Man Legends, Mega Man Legends 2, and The Misadventures of Tron Bonne.

If they want to go all out, they should include the Prototype Version of Mega Man Legends 3 as a bonus (while, of course, specifying that it is nothing more than a prototype for a cancelled sequel).

Watch it not include Misadventures of Tron Bonne since the other collections ignore the spin-offs

Curious about Legends and Starforce. Legends is three games counting Tron Bonne, and Starforce is only three titles. I could see Capcom including both series in one package, maybe?

Or possibly including Operation Shooting Star (BN 1 remaster on DS that combined exe and Starforce but is mostly BN1 with a new scenario) in a Starforce collection, but would be odd since BN collection came out and has BN1.

Or just release a Legends collection and Star Force collection, most likely. :P

Battle Network and Legends collections are all I've asked for Megaman related things, hope Capcom can fulfill the other half and bring out Legends 1&2 and Tron Bonne.

Star Force Collection (if it happens) would probably have every version of the 3 games like the BN Collection did and count those as separate titles.

Even worse than the BN games since there's BARELY anything different between the versions

Fun fact Roll's actress discovered Matt Mercer. Also Sailor Jupiter is the mayor.

I am wondering how they would handle Tiesel though considering his dub actor was charged with child pornography numerous times up to his death.

I wonder if Capcom would include the prototype for Legends 3? On the one hand, I could see that potentially reopening a big band-aid wound. On the other hand, it might be a neat look at what could have been, and potentially even stoke interest in a revival. At the least it seems a shame to let all that work go to waste.

Yeah, I don't really see them combining two sub series that don't have anything to do with each other like that. The Legends games are also going to take a lot more work than the ports they've done so far so I imagine having them in their own package isn't going to be that big of a deal

Oh yeah, for sure. It was just a hypothetical. They're gonna need to offer a modern control scheme (as default), and a classic mode, among other stuff.

I truly hope we get Legends and Starforce collections. Would love to have them all on one platform (hoping by the time they get to them, PS4 and Switch versions will still be releasing).

I was lucky a friend of mine made me try MML2 because after the first one I was done with the (sub)series.

Man I would be so darn excited to reply these (easily, not via emulation...im lazy haha). Such great games that would easily appeal to a modern audience with a few QOL changes

Would be really cool if they were able to throw in stuff like the mobile games, the Japanese version of the Legends 2 demo since that had unique content, & some other stuff to help make the collection be more complete in terms of content. Or throw in some of the spin-offs that were part of the PS2-era collections like Battle & Chase & the two arcade fighters.

Maybe also offer an option where you can use a more modern control style, or at the very least, use Legends 2 style controls in Legends 1.

....they sure as hell wouldn't include anything relating to Legends 3 because ho boy, I doubt they wanna reopen that can of worms, but man, if we FINALLY got that Legends 3 demo playable....

Damn, I knew about the stuff he did (it was one of the fan theories as to why Legends wasn't a PSOne Classic on PS3), but didn't know he passed away in July 2020. But yeah, I would understand wanting to recast him.

A Collection for just 3 PS1 games? No thanks give me my StarForce collection first because a collection of 8 games is a better deal at this point.

Legacy Collection 2 only had 4 games on it, and its not like any of these games are on modern consoles (or cheap enough to track down if you want original copies).
So yes please. Gimme them. Legends 1 with proper dual analogue support would easily be worth it alone, let alone getting Tron and Legends 2 included in the pack. Starforce can wait its turn (forever)

I guess we will have to wait and see what Capcom decides to do than because considering what went down with Keiji Inafune in regards to Mega Man Legends 3, the fact that all of these 3 PS1 games are still available on the PSN Store and playable on PSP/PS3/PS Vita last time I checked and that StarForce is the sequel series to Battle Network I'm more inclined to believe that the StarForce Collection is next.

Oh how I've dreamed for this collection. Throw us a bone Capcom. After all these years, give us the closure us pained fans of longed for. I've bought every collection in support of the IP to do my part for the eventual Legends release. Don't let me down.

I expect that we will get both a Legends and a Star Force collection in the next 5 years (both of which I will buy) but I am more curious other than Mega Man 12 which other sub-series they will actually continue
