Roman is 1000% winning the next time he fights Brock. ...Right?
I still don't understand how three Togans wrecked everyone. Especially when one of them is like 60.

I get the feeling that you have a higher opinion than most on pretty much everything on the show due to being there. lol
So is this gonna be the Tongans against everyone else now? I mean I realize there are still like 65 Bullet Club members out there that haven't chosen a side, but most of them are jobbers anyway.
Apparently, Tama was saying choose your side while beating down Chase and Yujiro.
whatI also notice this is very American-style in the way they booked it. Sure, make the brown people the bad guys.
Thought the show was 2.75 stars at best because I'm not a MARK
You bitched about the card seconds after tickets went on sale and before anything was officially announced

It was a really good believable rollup after a match with tons of heat. It was great.
I'll have to watch it, but I just think that single championship wins via rollup are dumb.
So that's the carrot they'll dangle in front of Bryan in the hope he will sign again, makes sense.AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe for the WWE Championship and Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz were announced for SmackDown's house show at MSG on December 26, with the pre-sale password "HOLIDAY."
The crowd was poised to hate him though. You could tell when he came out to boos he was really savoring the moment. Juice is such a charismatic face to go against, I really enjoyed he was one of the few who went to the sides of the extra wide aisle and slapped palms.
If Bryan's (a man who supposedly lives and breathes wrestling) big aspiration for the rest of his career is a match with Miz, well then I guess he deserves to stay in Vince's bubble. So that's the carrot they'll dangle in front of Bryan in the hope he will sign again, makes sense.
Great pictures and report!Went to my 2nd Tokyo Joshi Pro show earlier with my Japanese friend I've converted into a wrestling fan. Or at least I think I have; she was a little weirded out by the opening dance number. But she seemed to dig some of the other matches. After taking her to a WWE show and now a TJPW show, my next goal is to take her to a NJPW show. Here's some quick thoughts:
Overall, a fun show. Nice that it starts at 12 and gets out in the early afternoon; feel like my day isn't wasted. Now for some pics:
- First match with Yuu and Nodoka was awesome! Great opener. And the best match of the day for both of us. Some of those chops sounded pretty brutal. Ow!
- Rest of the show was aight; Yuka's matches were pretty good. Also dug Hyper Misao shenanigans.
- Really, really bummed Maho wasn't on the card. :(
- Maki sang right next to me; that was pretty cool!
- Both my friend and I think the generic dancing girls are soooo boring.
- Apparently, before the show, they announced 2 new women are going to start training. At least that's what my friend said. I could be totally wrong on that.
- Miyu's slip was pretty funny, but she handled it really well. Weird that the last 2 shows I've been to had women slip (Io Shirai and now Miyu).
WWE matches ending in a rollup are so much different than what I saw tonight live in the US title match. THAT was a rollup finish. The audience definitely had a cathartic release at the 3 count.
Great pictures and report!
I think the problem with the Up Up Girls is that besides a couple of moves it's hard to differentiate between them if you're not reading any interviews / backstage stuff with them.
These are the two new trainees, the right one is a YouTuber, the left one a former DDT wrestling student:
Damn.
This five seconds is 100x better than any Heyman promo we've had in how many years.
That said, no way they get this emotion from him in the BIG DOG's direction
