Honestly, the top guy had the right idea. I thought it would be fun to do a turn and then we could just talk about the twisted metal franchise and how black is really good. So I'll probably wait a bit and actually do thread like someone else suggested, with 2 head on black and 2012.
I'm confused. I remember 3 being panned by fans and most regarded Black as ok. 2 was when the series peaked and the magic was never recaptured.
You're right. I'm merging memories of Black and 4 for some reason.

The age old question: did Twisted Metal improve with 989 Studios with Twisted Metal III? Or did they hurt the franchise to the point that the original creators had to create a new one to bring it back up to speed?
No doubt III's Rob Zombie soundtrack has its fans, but I do enjoy the darker melodies in Black. Black is a fast game running at 60fps and is much harder than the previous games, imo. It's also arguably the best Twisted Metal. But I like killing everyone in III on the UFO level by finding that secret weapon.
What say you?
The first two entries, released in 1996 and 1997, were developed by Sony Computer Entertainment's British in-house development team.[1] Later entries were developed by 989 Sports
TM3 is kinda bad.
Black is by far the best TM followed by TM2.
Yeah Head On would be my 3rd favorite. 2012 never truly clicked with me even if everything works on paper.
