When Barry inevitably travels back in time to the Gotham timeline because they seem to exist in the past between the 80's and 90's
Invasion of the Dominators. Year before that (2015) was the Vandal Savage thing setting up Legends of Tomorrow, and the year before that (2014) was Flash vs. Arrow.

I tried watching arrow years ago and got bored as shit on how nothing it was. The marvel shows at least have good actors and don't look like they where shot with a slice of cheese as the budget. Doesn't help that besides Arrow and flash, these guys are beneath d tier in the dc universe.

Gotta watch season 1 of The Flash man. If nothing else that's the best Arrowverse production by a large margin.
The premiere was as bad as ever but I dunno about the rest of the season
Season 4 has been so much fun so far, due in no small part to the introduction of Ralph Dibny.
You have a high tolerance for CW bullshit. I think you'd be ok.
It depends what you want out of the show tonally
A lot of people complained Flash was getting too dark and serious
Season 4 has been trying (way too) hard to go 180 to a light hearted tone, practically bordering on cartoony at times.
At least no Speedster big bad this season.
Congratulations, you missed multiple seasons of shows infinitely better than any film put out by WB.

I find the Arrowverse so so, Flash never did a series near as good as the first, and Arrow did a downward spiral after series 2. Still a lot better than the DCEU mind you.
I'm pretty excited for it. Need to catch up on Arrow though because I fell behind; I watched the premiere and need to watch all the episodes after on the CW app. Wish this crossover would lead to Earth-38 (Supergirl Earth) merging with Earth-1 though so that all the shows could be set on Earth-1 and not require breaching Kara over every season for the crossover.
Last year's crossover was amazing! I can't wait to watch this year's. The way they blended the shows together and no one was left out was incredible. I really hope they still have that magic this year.
If you are referring to what I think you are... especially given the crossover thread we are in... I already know, but that doesn't really count.
Guys, why are we all standing like this? We have this entire roof. Spread out. And why is the guy who's only super power is to know how to shoot a fire gun here? Not even shoot that well either.
Every DC show so far has had singing in it... even in random eps, not just "Musical" themed eps
