I haven't been this excited for a Weeknd album since Kissland. 3/3 and honestly think Blinding Light and After Hours are already 2 instant classics for his discography. Expectations are sky high

I can't stop listening to After Hours.

This is pure flames.

He's found his groove and running with it.

The production is really outstanding, the mix and everything sounds great, not the biggest fan of The Weekend personally but I dig his new sound . Sounds like an Nicolas Refn Winding soundtrack mixed with Tron Legacy.

he did this on kiss land quite a bit too

all his mixing and beats are immaculate, tbh.

true but the soundplay on this new song is something that i haven't heard him do since kiss land

Fuck that's a good point. How leave room for the possibility of it being cancelled though
Yeah, lot's of stuff being canceled, here in the Netherlands, they are even cancelling some Eredivisie (Premier league sort of ) matches, besides that, even Coachella got postponed, lots of tech / gaming related stuff, even artists canceling their shows :(

Edit: really should of have bought the ''money back guarantee when show's cancelled'' extra option

fixed

He still needs to promote the album though and honestly he doesn't seem the type to cancel an appearance although he has done so before. Was the money back option more expensive?
I love XO, not popular here I think because people think his music is sexist,homophobic... and yet Eminem is adored.

HMMMMMMMMMMMMMmm
Bro Eminem is NOT adored here, no idea where you got that from

Abel's only had one controversially homophobic lyric (as opposed to almost all of Eminem's career), so it's not that Resetera hates him, they just don't care about him

Oh I think it just depends where you bring up Em's name. Em thread's can get wild with the stuff people say about their idol. Let people sleep though, XO is a great example of how this site can be a bubble because yea , he's adored all over the world

Hmmm.

Keep repeating "blinding lights" over and over again the other night (First time i heard the song)

This the second time this happens to me in over a year....the first time was with "secrets" from Weeknd as well.

This guy is good.

Picked up a couple first-row tickets for this tour (/humblebrag). After listening to the first few singles from the album, and seeing the production value he put into his late night performances on Colbert, I just couldn't resist.

Scared to Live didn't do much for me, hope that's not the only cut OPN did for him.
