I impulse bought the digital version of it a few months ago based off the title alone. It's not very arousing, but it is fucking hilarious.
Their digital site has a pretty cool way of handling DRM: you get a PDF file with no restrictions, but my legal name is burned into the pages as a watermark. It's definitely effective at making me not want to upload it somewhere lol

The writing takes the absurd sex combat concept and plays it relatively straight. It could've been a lot goofier and a lot more horny, but there's acutally a ton of lore and character development.

Judging by the OP and someone else's pic. The book store was Barnes and nobles and their manga isle is usually alphabetically organized by series name. Which sometimes results in softcore porn books getting lumped near the more popular stuff.

Manga is big now and that includes a bunch of really weird stuff. Sweat and Soap is a fetish series (and a pretty sweet romance from what I've heard) that Kodansha also published in the US. Parallel Paradise is literally just porn and it winds up on a lot of the same shelves as this stuff too

There is a LOT of Boys Love manga that gets released physically nowadays, and as someone who buys a lot of it, there isn't really any rhyme or reason to how things get rated or polybagged. You can have hardcore pornogrophy with a "Older teen ages 16+" unpolybagged and something with, like, a obscured blowjob be polybagged and hit with an 18+. But its nothing new having wild stuff on a bookshelf- you have had Berserk and Beyblade right next to each other for a number of years!
