There's actually a rat trap that works like that. Rat or whatnot sticks its head into the little opening in the trap and it triggers a pressurized tube that smashes its neck.

I was not on for Toonami (I was busy with family), so I didn't see this. Here's a belated happy birthday! I hope it was a good one.
