Ah yes, the strategy of hosting important meetings in his properties, then jacking up the prices during that period to profit even more from it. Of course his supporters are too stupid to see this is clearly him just trying to further line his pockets
This is nothing new, he has been in violation of the emoluments clause since like Day 1 of his presidency. No one cares to do anything.
Yes. He's currently in violation of the constitution due to this issue regardless of what happens for next year's G7.

Wonder if hes going to invite Putin and Kim Jong Un since he can invite additional people as the host of the G7
It'll be late summer 2020... I wonder whether his campaign will let him so publicly take the risk of trying to enrich himself via his position. It's been a central theme of his administration, but that will be only ~8 weeks or so before the election.
Also the constitutional element of this doesn't matter. Trump has very obviously violated the emoluments clause hundreds and thousands of times over the last 3 years. It doesn't matter. It's very publicly obvious that people looking for favors from the Trump Administration are staying at Trump properties to curry favor, and receiving favorable treatment.
