You're right, but pardoning can also be used to commute sentences that a president may deem are too harsh for an individual. But he wasn't treated unfairly, he was actually guilty and plead guilty!!!
Does his sentence seem too harsh? He's served it out or most of already. You're right, but pardoning can also be used to commute sentences that a president may deem are too harsh for an individual.
This is more of a signal.Does his sentence seem too harsh? He's served it out or most of already.
Cohen was fucked the moment the Feds got his stuff.I'm sure this has nothing to do with sending a signal to Cohen, or Manafort. Nope not at all....
That's too many syllables for him.Surprised he didn't bookend with a "Happy Asian Pacific American Heritage Month!" tweet.
Oh...In 2016, D'Souza released a documentary film and book, both entitled Hillary's America, in which he offers his version of the history of the Democratic Party. D'Souza's films have been the subject of considerable controversy, including criticism for espousing conspiracy theories and other unsubstantiated representations of fact.
I really don't think he needed to signal this. Everyone has been expecting that to happen from the start. This is a signal pardon if there ever was one. He's telling his buddies to hang tight, he's gonna pardon them for their fuckery.
Still seems like a waste of a pardon, he's probation is almost over, am sure it's hell having to teach non-english speakers English, 8 hours a week. You're right, but pardoning can also be used to commute sentences that a president may deem are too harsh for an individual.
All you need to know... edit: oh, beaten by CloudWolf and even before by heavy liquid.

The thing is they're still suffering from legal bills they have to pay.I really don't think he needed to signal this. Everyone has been expecting that to happen from the start.
There needs to be a constitutional amendment stripping the presidency of the pardon power. It was always ripe for abuse, it's just that unwritten political norms generally worked to prevent gross misuses in the past.
If there's one thing the Trump presidency has demonstrated, it's that norms alone won't constrain abuses of power when the president is absolutely shameless.
You can't pardon someone who is charged or convicted on the state level though. Pardons only work for federal offenders.I'm sure this has nothing to do with sending a signal to Cohen, or Manafort. Nope not at all....
Certain offenses can only be tried at the federal level. This is also assuming Federal investigators will for sure go for state charges where they can.You can't pardon someone who is charged or convicted on the state level though. Pardons only work for federal offenders.
Trump's basically doing the minor pardons that have no actual consequence so he can try to let his friends know he will pardon them if they protect him, but he won't actually do that
Neither was the dead guy Trump pardoned last week.
This sets a dangerous precedent, Trump gonna pardon all his cronies.
The thing is they're still suffering from legal bills they have to pay.
Trump continues to dismantle the rule of law. D'Souza was guilty and deserve no pardon.
I'm keeping my opinion of him being a dangerous intellectually dishonest liar out of this, the man is threat to America and its ideals.
He's a wife beater to boot:
He outed gay students when in college:
He wrote a book on how racism doesn't exist anymore:

In February 2018, D'Souza was widely criticized for a series of tweets which mocked the survivors of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting. In response to a photo of survivors reacting to Florida lawmakers voting down a proposed ban on assault weapons in the aftermath of the shooting, D'Souza tweeted "worst news since their parents told them to get summer jobs"
