Maybe your business plan is to charge other dogs 5 dollars to sniff your butt?

I cant quite put my finger on why this worries me.

Its certainly not Amouranth, she is obviously a smart and hard working business woman and her animal sanctuary plans make her extremely likeable. I hope she can fulfill her dreams.

But that men pay that much money for the illusion of having a connection to a woman, I just cant help but feel that the rise of incels and the rise of onlyfans are two sides of the same coin with the same root cause.

She can retire with that kind of money.

Well she could but she is growing her new gas station empire so she gets your money at the pumps too.

I believe she has three different gas stations now.

This gas station joins the likes of her Circle K location which receives over 100,000 cars each day and the 7-Eleven gas station that she invested $10 million into last year.

We don't ask how many people give these game companies or whatever else money for escapism instead of using that money for their mental health.

Only for this topic though.
Buying a video game is clearly the same as giving someone hundreds or thousands of dollars in hopes of some kind of human interaction from them.

Oh we don't have microtransactions? When the next COD comes out or the next Fortnite topic comes around point to me the amount of post we have talking about the amount of money people spend on that shit.

But we only assume everyone is spending thousands on amouranth rather than it being a ton of people giving like $10 or some shit. We'll only talk about the extremes in this case but not the other.

I mean, even if you just keep it to the same space, there's not much different from the "para-social" point of view from someone giving Amouranth money and someone tipping their favorite streamer. Nobody gives a second thought about someone tipping an already rich gaming streamer $50 to hear their name called on stream.

If I were "lucky" enough to make it big streaming, I personally think I would also be compelled to make as much as I could while I am relevant.
I'm the complete opposite. I'd try and make a few million and then dip and probably want to live in the middle of nowhere after enduring that amount of exposure. But with 33 million earned I don't see the point anymore. When does it ever end?

Most people who get rich live to get more rich, it's why you end up with billionaires in the first place. No one person would ever in a normal life time be able to ever spend that amount of money even living to insane luxurious standards. It almost feels like it's the same reason levelling up systems and achievement systems in games became so popular, people love seeing their numbers go up and with rich people that's their bank account.

This is very true. I'm not rich by any means, but currently I am in a situation where I am saving more than I spend, and even I feel cathartic when I see my account hit a new milestone (before I dump everything in a down payment for a house, I guess?). I imagine it's the same for rich people.

However, I do also think that the cost of living comfortably are rising. I would imagine most people here believe that 1 million isn't enough when it comes to retirement. If you can secure the well-being and comfort of your parents, your children, and your grandchildren, I can absolutely understand having a drive to make as much as I can, while I can. I mean, cars are expensive. Houses are expensive. College is expensive. At some point it does get absurd (I mean a billion is for sure beyond that threshold), but people love seeing that number rise.

I have to say, gas station investments is a unique take for a young streamer. She seems like she knows what she's doing to get sustainable income when she gives up Twitch/OnlyFans and to build her animal sanctuary.

That bubble will never last forever and she looks burned out as fuck from that Vice video given how much absolutely insane work has to go into sustaining the fickle Twitch crowd alone so no doubt she understands the zeitgeist won't last forever. Her tweet about a dedicated stalker traveling the world to find her is scary as fuck.

Did not expect that one. Though buying out those Kum & Go stations is pretty hilarious. I always wondered why someone would name a franchise that 😂

Damn, she invested in Activision and Blizzard too? She really knows how to bank off shitty industries

Anyone curious about what the implications could mean for mainstream porn? I'm sure a ton of porn actresses must be seeing this and wonder why the hell she's working on this shit under the control of some guy/company when people are racking in millions on OnlyFans.

Most are on OnlyFans already. More and more are moving to contract work.

Porn stars already make money from OnlyFans and various cam shows. Making porn scenes with a studio makes them known. Randoms don't just jump in to OnlyFans and make millions. They had a fan base prior to.

In the end, it's all about the money. Once you see those zeroes, you just want more and more which it looks she's fallen into.

thats crazy. its cool that the main benefeciary of her work is herself.

if she feels comfortable doing it, all the power to her. that is a serious amount of $$$.

She speaks to this in her Vice interview. She knows this was a lucky hit and is keeping it going for as long as possible because she feels that any day can be her last making this much money and that she can be forced to stop before reaching the amount she needs for her endgame projects (dog/horse sanctuaries). Doesn't seem at all like vacuous greed unless we're ruling out believing what she says about herself.

I've discussed OF with my wife and she seems receptive to the idea. She could make a small fortune selling her used panties, tampons, and fart jars too.

With so much free porn available on the internet, I'm surprised this is even possible. I just don't see how any personal touch and audience interaction would make that much difference, but if it works, it works. Even guys make money on OnlyFans.

Good for her, gotta make these rich people spend money, I guess

It's a lot better than working for porn industry haha

The average onlyfans subscriber is definitely not rich. A lot of them have just fallen down the parasocial rabbit hole. Jerking off to random pornhub videos won't satisfy them anymore, they need that imaginary connection to the content creator that onlyfans facilitates.

They even use credit cards and go into debt for their brief satisfaction. It's pretty sad.

What else would it be about?
We'll she always said she had a goal and it was the only reason why she does it. And that was to start an animal sanctuary. She's still young though, so she could do this for quite awhile as long as the market demand is there.

Good for her. It was interesting see some male streamers in that vice video ask how they can compete with her or whatever. Honestly if you can't market yourself, or are terrible at the games you play on stream, or maybe even not engaging, then you won't compare well to a streamer with 100 average viewers.

She hit gold because she generally pushes the boundaries of what twitch streaming can be. She made the hot tub meta a thing and takes ASMR to a different level. I am sure she isn't the first to try some of this stuff but she can perform weird stuff for people on stream and it gets her views. She has a good mixture of talent, looks and is pretty forth coming. There isn't really any shame to what she does because she knows it will make her money.

I saw her Twitch channel on the recommended. She had been streaming for 16 hours by that point. Granted, she seems to spend a pretty significant amount of time off-camera with a note stating she's changing into a tinier bikini.

She knows exactly how to sucker the simps on her channel. More power to her too, she's cracked the code. It's the anticipation that excites most of her viewer base even if they spend too long complaining in chat and calling out each other for being bigger simps than themselves. All the while she is probably chilling in the living room snacking while the donations and subs pour in. Fucking genius.

I'm very happy she's an animal lover and is doing this to make the world a bit better of a place. It's just insane to me she has the fortitude to work as much as she does. It's draining, but at least she's still young and can get away with it. The other thing that always blows me away is how much free porn there is yet people are willing to pay for hers. There's certainly the fact you get to interact with streamers which sets it apart, but when you're trying to interact with someone like this who has so many subs you can't possibly get that interaction, why the hell would someone drop money and stick around? I'm sure there are some whales who drop so much on her that they can't help but be noticed, but all the others are just waving at her hoping for... Something? I really don't understand what they're doing there.

It sounds like there's a "connection" there. Its not just pics of their body they're selling, its a "parasocial relationship" of sorts. Some people on OF respond to messages, one on one chats, invites to game streams/secret discords etc. Plus many also do custom videos and such for people as well.

Is the point that Twitch should just allow NSFW streams so they can earn a cut of those 33 million in bits? lol

Uber Eats, video game microtransactions, Starbucks coffee, avocado toast, and OnlyFans.
Then they complain that they don't have any money to invest for their retirement.
