The vast majority of criticism against her just reads like thinly veiled slut-shaming. Good for her though. I have serious doubts about the animal sanctuary though. Time will tell.
I hate to be cynical but with every "influencer" or online personality it always seems to be get notice of people who aren't aware of me to feel they need to be aware of me. Which leads to profits for the influencerGenuine question, perhaps for people who follow her content -
Why the need to reveal this, either now or at all?
Amo grinds like no other. There is a really good mini-documentary Vice did where she talks about why she does it, her goals and the process of doing everything. Slightly nsfw considering it talks about her OF, shows a pool stream and such.
Making $1.5M/month on OnlyFans and Twitch: Amouranth
In this episode of My Life Online, we dive into the life of Amouranth, one of the most-watched woman on Twitch, who rakes in 1.5 Million Dollars a month.video.vice.com
There's a lot of criticism about this whole sub genre that's less about her but what it gets other vulnerable women to do in hopes of getting this kind of bag when they never will but might be abused or exploited. The vast majority of criticism against her just reads like thinly veiled slut-shaming. Yup, onlyfans been getting chicks paid. Catch me outside girl from Dr Phil made over 50m in a year.

awesome, you should go for it...I would rather do this than work my ass off every day for a boss who doesn't appreciate me, just so I can barely afford the bills and never have anything for myself at the end of the month. Regular jobs are a scam and it's no wonder so many people suffer from mental heal problems.
Certainly. There's a much larger discussion around the predatory and exploitative nature of the porn industry to be had, but for her part, Amouranth has (to my knowledge) always been or recently has been, extremely up front about what she's doing, her attitude around it, and that for her it's a means to an end. There's a lot of criticism about this whole sub genre that's less about here but what it gets other vulnerable women to do in hopes of getting this kind of bag when they never will but might be abused or exploited.
Nothing wrong with pornography but it's not just an "empowering" institution and onlyfans isn't free from the problems with institutional actors have been noted for
Oh my post is not really about her per se. But what this encouragement does. i don't think she's done anything wrong by joining the site but I worry what young girls seeing her end up doing thinking they can match this based on her promotion of it.Certainly. I believe in you!Man, why aren't people this thirsty over middle-aged average looking dudes? When will it be my turn?
I remember watching her when she was on Attack of the Show and I've never seen a more... dispassionate? Just completely monotone? She just seemed to be there, but I got zero sense of her personality or anything she was into when talking. It was weirdI've seen some of her OF stuff and the behind the scenes video about the making of it all, and both were just depressing. She doesn't look or feel happy with any of it, and it just feels weird that there are folks out there whacking off to her content when you can see she's just not "there".
I'm happy she can the money and be set for life, but in the meantime there's just something sad and tragic about it all.
I haven't watched the doc but are these things she's expressing or things you're inferring? The VICE doc is really depressing, and the overwhelming sense I got from her in it is that she's unhappy, isolated and lonely. All that money must be wonderful and will set her up for life, but the cost seems so high.
Let me ask this question about this specific situation: is this something she would have ever considered doing if not for thirsty guys sliding into her DMs and asking for nudes? If not, she was essentially pushed into it by them and the promise of making bank. In that way, it was a "choice" instead of something chosen.Oh my post is not really about her per se. I think of lot of the "sex work is work" (which is true) language just ignores the exploration and abuse and tries to says it's all okay and questioning things is sexism
She's mentioned wanting to build an animal sanctuary. I bet she gives this Twitch/Only Fans thing a good few more years to make as much money as she can and then just dips off the internet forever.
I know it is, but it seems to be insanely draining for her, in a way that just doesn't seem healthy in the long run, no matter how much money she gets.

Sadly I don't think there's much of a market for fat lads in their 30s.
Also, interesting how I've seen no "eat the rich" posts in this thread (unless I've just missed) like I've seen in the past on topics related to income making (especially if you make over 100K here).
Exactly, same thing in the normal porn industry. Heard countless stories (every had an actress just disappear, does her "content"?).Let me ask this question about this specific situation: is this something she would have ever considered doing if not for thirsty guys sliding into her DMs and asking for nudes? If not, she was essentially pushed into it by them and the promise of making bank. In that way, it was a "choice" instead of something chosen.
Like, if this is something you actively choose to do and are completely comfortable with then that's awesome and more power to you. That said, if you aren't comfortable with it and "chose" to do it then that's not really a good thing and there should probably be a discussion about how guys can push girls into making an OnlyFans in subtle ways and how that is a form of exploitation.
Sadly I don't think there's much of a market for fat lads in their 30s.
This is what happens when you're early enough, unique enough, and keep up the grind. I don't know what the full variety of her content contains, but I was laughing my ass off at one clip of her doing ASMR wearing a chicken costume.

Typically when people say "eat the rich" they are referring to the billionaires, landlords, people that don't pay their taxes, that are members of or donate to awful parties/causes, or otherwise exorbitantly wealthy people in positions of power that are a detriment to society. A self-made video game streamer with a softcore porn site making 30 million doesn't really rate in comparison, I don't know what position of power she would be in. If we actually seriously got down to class warfare, we'd be on opposite sides I imagine but for right now it's not the biggest issue or anything. I haven't seen many people on here saying "eat the rich" to people who make 100k.Also, interesting how I've seen no "eat the rich" posts in this thread (unless I've just missed) like I've seen in the past on topics related to income making (especially if you make over 100K here).
