If this thing is more than 11.5" deep it isn't fitting in my media center.
I get it's a render but given how the casing bleeds from the disc tray section into the unit you can see the problems. It's probably a good estimation of size, but not form
An absolute unit.
I hope people remember that XSX uses two motherboards (still unsure how they are linked) whereas PS5 is using one (more traditional).

I wonder if that helps their yields by having it split so that they're not that rowing away so much silicon (and future support)

Good thing is, I can just replace my TV with the PS5 and use it as a projector screen for my future home entertainment setup.

I'd rather see actual consoles side-by-side, but the gist is clear: The XSX is smaller and, well, 'neater'. I have to say I prefer that, although for some reason I like the curve for the disc drive on the PS5, it struck me as soon as I saw it, even as I probably prefer the symmetry of the discless version. So I don't know what the fuck I like, clearly...
One company figured out how to pack a lot of power effectively into a decently sized form factor... the other, not so much.
