The Last Goddess is a squad-based point-and-click adventure mystery game set in near-future Florida.
When a professor goes missing from Tampa Bay University, a government agent, a doctoral student of folklore, and two graphic designers form an unlikely investigative team. Their search will take them through Tampa's city center, to the campus of a secretive software development company, and into the surrounding rural expanse of Central Florida, ultimately leading to discoveries they never could have imagined.
Each of the game's four main characters has unique skills that will help overcome the obstacles they encounter. It's a point-and-click adventure game that scraps the idea of the lonely "hero" wandering the world and replaces it with a dynamic team of individuals each with their own talents and motivations.
Anyone remembera a top down pixelart game that had focused a lot on pink and black colours? It was some earthbound type game or something. Saw a trailer of it on gaf like 1-2 years ago and several people were hyped bc it had been in development for quite a while. Anyone know what im talking about?

The current target is mid-year 2018. Personally I was hoping it would be out in early 2018, but that was just my speculation based off the original June 2017 goal. It's gotta be getting close. The developer has been showing of a lot of little tweaks which lead me to believe they're polishing up a lot. Since the beginning of the year, every time there's a progress update, I've been hoping it is the one that gives us a release date.

Something wakes him up.
His head hurts. His right arm has some bloody scratches. A backpack weights on his back, and he quickly searches its insides, finding some bandages that he uses to wrap up his injuries.
He looks around himself and stands up. A big bright light glows through the woods in the horizon and he realizes he doesn't know where he is. He doesn't remember anything before waking up.
Seeing he doesn't have a lot of options, he decides to walk towards the wood and the mysterious light that's beckoning him.
Beacon the Awakening has a short and emotional story. The game explores "close to home" subjects such as love, fear, loneliness, life, and death. With an ambiguous nature, the story won't tell you anything directly, instead giving you details and it will be up to the player to make their own interpretations and conclusions, making each player's playthrough and experience different.
