You guys are no fun. And this looks like fun.
Im in.
Im in.
Its totally gonna happen!
Its totally gonna happen!
I disagree. I always pictured Venom has having a dual voice thing going on, like a DBZ fusion.Having seen the whole trailer, it looks like an average hollywood action movie. They nailed Venom's voice though.
Sony isn't going to be satisfied going off 1 superhero movie every two years.Oh Sony... Sony Sony Sony...
All you had to do was let Marvel run your properties, sit back, and make all of the money. That's it. There's no reason for this to exist.
I don't believe he's in the movie. Feige straight up said the film is not in the MCU.
A few of the Venom incarnations (ie Ultimate) are missing that. Doesn't make sense for an alien costume that now has nothing to do with Spider-ManHe's not going to have the big white spider on his chest and back, is he?
I can honestly see them not putting that in.
For rel. Is this supposed to be Eddie Brock Venom?
That Venom could be set in it if they recasted him or just pretended it was like Hulk
I'm still not sure what you mean. The Incredible Hulk is in the MCU. It always was.
I mean, I liked the trailer. I like the design. I like Tom Hardy.
However... they completely removed Spider-Man from Venom's origin. Now the symbiote is just some goo that some scientists found somewhere. This not only completely ruins any chance of the movie being "semi-canon" in the MCU (as Defenders or AoS), but also...
... why would the symbiote look like Spider-Man if Parker hasn't worn it beforehand? (I think I can even see one of the legs of the big, white spider in Venom's shoulder)
Why would Venom have Spider-Man powers if Parker hasn't worn it? Or is he just going to be a gooey Hulk with tendrils?
Why would Tom Holland appear in the movie?
Damn, Sony, why do you have to make everything so complicated?
I'm still not sure what you mean. The Incredible Hulk is in the MCU. It always was.
Recast as Mark Ruffalo? But where's Ed Norton?
That's my point. They can just say Venom is after the fact if they wanted to.
There it is, it looks like one of those competent but uninteresting genre flick like the Percy movies or John Carter
Because Sony is a business and simply playing nice with Marvel doesn't get them the potential extra income that this would?Venom's design looks neat, but man why can't Sony just play nice with Marvel? They're about to get the X-Men and FF back and ya'll are over here trying to make a Venom movie with Spider-Man.
Possible all the action sequences are concentrated in a ten or fiteen minute scene. He's literally shooting tentacles out of his jacket to land on a motorcycle in an X-Games stunt.
We're talking about the Ed Norton one right? Did you miss Civil War cause the General dude from that film is in Civil War, meaning it's all the same universe. Same General Ross and same actor.
Venom's design looks neat, but man why can't Sony just play nice with Marvel? They're about to get the X-Men and FF back and ya'll are over here trying to make a Venom movie with Spider-Man.
I wonder if we'll ever get The Leader returning to the movies.Recast as Mark Ruffalo?
Everything in that movie is Canon.
From the deleted scene with Banner putting the gun to his head and hulk coming out.
To the abomination
To William Hurt playing thunderbolt Ross.
they just recast Banner as Ruffalo because Norton is such a pain to work with.
Now we finally know what Tom Holland was doing on set.
Tom: "Yeah, it's totally pronounced sym-bi-oat, trust me."
Lol yeah.
