I'm really enjoying it. I've spent a lot of time knocking over paint cans and scratching furniture. It's funny how the feel of the game keeps changing for me though. I don't want to to spoil anything but it reminds me of different games as it goes along.
So, looks like the root source is Steam 250, which is a fine choice. For comparison's sake, Steamdb's algorithm also puts Stray as the pick of the litter for 2022 so far, but also ranks Powerwash Simulator 2nd and bumps Neon White up to 4th.
With that said: don't sleep on Teardown, especially if you wanted a something to (finally) elaborate on Red Faction Guerrilla's destruction systems.

Well deserved. Probably not my favorite game when all is said and done, but it's definitely a great little gem of a game. I had a wonderful time with it. The PC version is great.
That's using Steam250's custom rating, though. Like Neon White has a higher raw user % rating, just on way fewer reviews. So take that as you will.

Don't even own it, was just making a funny.
Keep seeing people buy it on the premise of "wow you can be the cat!" and then they're moaning about it being really boring and "not what they expected". Kind of funny.
Some of these puns are pawsitively terrible. Granted, mine aren't purrfect, but it's hard to come up with good cat puns without veering too far into absurdkitty.
I loved Stray. Pretty short game with great pacing, excellent atmosphere, 'Cat' gameplay, etc etc. I can't see where people are coming from with the 'boring / walking sim' criticisms, like, at all. Were they expecting a character action game or something?
The 239th greatest game on Steam (according to Steam 250, at least). Amusingly, SteamDB doesn't rate the first game, but has Nekopara Volume 2 as the 146th greatest game on Steam and Vol 3 as the 155th greatest game on Steam. Algorithms, how do they work?
