They need company in the "first party games that Sony has bothered to mess with" club.GoT and Days Gone need some company in the 60fps patch club....
Sony. This is getting ridiculous. Pay your studios to make PS5 patches.
Technically it's a win for physical media if you bought your game at launch. New printed copies (the "Essential" Edition for example, red box) must have a few patches installed already, so you're fucked no matter what.

Nope, Sony doesn't update their game discs (Microsoft does sometimes). The Essential Edition is the same as the day one edition.
Oh really? Color me surprised. I'm pretttttty sure they did for GT Sport.
Maybe you're thinking of GT Sport Spec II, which costed $30 and included some bonuses and a patch to a more recent version. They did this when the released a Playstation Hits version of GT Sport for $20. The GT website details this as well.
Nah, they're going the Spider-Man route.

Nope. Too hard, expensive, only paid remastersIt should take less than 10 minutes for a developer to add a simple menu option to toggle a hi-res and 60fps toggle.
Heck even a person who has never coded could add it in a few days by just reading the .cfg files and the menu file.
I'm HOPING that they are waiting to announce it in tandem with their release of Factions, but...yeah, we'll have to wait and see.
Honestly that's fucking pathetic.
no new game plus is the significant one

The only difference i think would be the improved lighting on the earlier versionsjust in case, did anyone try RDR2 disc version? this is slowly getting ridiculous
