Someone should post the article that was posted in the other thread, from two years ago, detailing a trip to Costa Rica in 2013 where cheerleaders were forced to act as escorts (but not forced to have sex). It was pretty horrific just reading that and the reactions of not only the cheerleaders (who were reportedly crying after being "picked" plus their passports were taken away) but the team itself.
Snyder is not going to have to sell the team over this. They will pin this on Bruce Allen, who left the team last year, and commit to change going forward.
I think they might be alluding to the idea that people would take women coming forward about sexual harassment as an opportunity to be entertained like it's watching a movie.

Unfortunately it seems like Snyder is disconnected enough from this to slip out from under it. While he almost certainly knew about this stuff going on, there's no direct link to Snyder in the article and all of the perpetrators have been fired so he could easily claim that he fired the offenders as soon as he found out about it, even if it is bullshit.
Something similar happened with the Dallas Mavericks. Mark Cuban said he was unaware and tearfully apologized for not being as diligent about his organization's culture.
Im guessing they mean you shouldn't be treating women's pain like entertainment.

It's certainly part of it but it sounds like there should be more if internet rumors are true. But who knows.
What happened is awful, but I honestly expected worse with the way reporters were hyping this up on Twitter and their cheerleader scandal from some years ago. Fuck Snyder and his merry band of pervs.
I'm shocked the guy that vehemently resisted changing the name, a racial slur, is such a nice guy lol.
That still seems too tame to take the team away from him and doesn't really pin him down as knowing about this other stuff. You could argue that he fostered this kind of atmosphere (and he did) but you'd need receipts (or a huge uproar from fans paying the bills) for this not to be done the Mark Cuban way (we cleaned house and promise to do better).
He'll probably get fined, but I doubt he will be ousted for this. Mark Cuban was not and that was a more progressive league.
