Is there any possible way for someone to tell me in the vaguest, absolutely most broad terms what kind of spoiler it was? If not dont bother
From what I am seeing it is similiar to the original.
There is a compass though, so maybe they expanded on it and the maps are bigger.
Edit: Seems there is an expedition system. Not sure if that is new cause I saw something like that in the original but I might be misremembering. It has been a while.
Just did the following on Reddit and would suggest everyone does the same if you're active there:
- Leave the The Last of Us Part II sub (edit: /r/TheLastOfUs), shitheads could put the spoilers in titles, text posts or comments there
- Only allow private messages from users you trust
- Disable inbox notifications when people /u/ your username

They announced it would have multiplayer in 2018, than last year they announced it became to ambitious and they wanted to work on single player and make it as best as can be. So now we don't know what's gonna happen with the multiplayer

They said the game won't launch with multiplayer but we'll see what their multiplayer team has been working on very soon. But most people just remember the "The last of us par 2 will have no multiplayer" part

They announced the Multiplayer wont be part of Part II, but they also said (and I quote): "However, you will eventually experience the fruits of our team's online ambition, but not as part of The Last of Us Part II".
There is barely anything. Trust me when I say this.

Hopefully being standalone means they won't tie any maing game Trophies to multiplayer this time. That shit was obnoxious in the first game.

Even if it WAS releasing on May 29th, that would be a whole month of avoiding spoilers. In reality it's going to be months. Unless you just don't go on forums/twitter/reddit at all for months on end, it's just gonna happen for a lot of people.

Eh there's no fame to be gained from this, you have to do it anonymously. And every channel you have will get nuked immediately anyway. There's likely some spiteful motivation.
I played the new God of War ONE week after release and I already got spoiled to hell and back by then. Not because I looked up anything GOW specific, but because the Youtube algorithm knows I like PlayStation and because scummy fucks on Youtube use explicit thumbnails to gather attention and views. It's also why I was against the idea of releasing digital before physical in the case of Part II. I bought the Special Edition, and there just is NO way to avoid spoilers for a game like this once it is out in the wild, unless you completely stop using Youtube and social media.
So there really are story spoilers out in the wild now? Even on fucking Era? I'm legit terrified of using Youtube now.
People leak the shit out of all types of games in all types of situations is my point and most aren't doing it to get back at the developers. In fact I doubt that's the case for most.
