I seem to remember her believing the women in the bloomberg accusations without question. Funny that.

Shes a typical two faced politician.

Not only will she probably not get VP nod, but she'll get to watch Bloomberg use his money to gain more influence and control in the Democratic party.

Wish she used some of that energy in the primary to go after Biden being a privileged male asshole. Last summer on the campaign trail (when his camp allowed him to go outside that is) that old pervert was essentially mocking all of the women who came out against him for his invasion of space and improper touching. Doesn't help that he's a known liar and that he has provided cover for other abusers in the past (Clarence Thomas) ,and I'll include his segregationist friends there too.

I don't see how him talking finally about the allegation months later with some generic bullshit gives him any benefit of the doubt, at least to the point where you can just claim he's in the clear and how cool he is.

I mean, I get it but I don't care for it.

The socialists and Marxists of Era can sit this election out, and that's perfectly fine. Telling other members to go fuck themselves for voting against Trump probably goes over the line though.

Yeah, this. I've just about had my fill of the characterization of voting for Biden as a position that lacks principals or morality. I do think it's immoral to support Biden, but supporting Trump through electoral inaction is even more immoral to me.

The president of the National Women's Law Center weighs in on this question.

Is It Fair to Compare Joe Biden to Brett Kavanaugh?

A candid conversation with the president of the National Women’s Law Center

I may be mistaken but it sounds like they were for it because they believed a senate panel to appoint judges would be non-political but dont believe a non-political solution is available for judging Biden. Is that right?

who believes that senate panels are non-political?

Because I don't want Trump to continue killing people that look like me. I don't want a fucking supreme court that's lost for the next 2 generations that will strip away the few remaining rights minorities, LGBTQ+ people and women have that Republicans have chipped away at over the past decades...

Minorities and subjugated communities do not have the fucking privilege to sit this shit out and continue dying and suffering at the hands of this administration.

How is this hard to understand? Biden is far from an ideal choice but some of us literally have no choice.
Just so you know, the privilege argument in regards to non-voting is factually wrong. Non-voters are poorer, over represented in nonwhite demographics (and under represented in white ofc) and have lower education. You can make the argument that people should vote for these issues, but you can't make the argument that it is privilege driving not voting.

I'm assuming they're walking about individuals who would typically vote, and whose voting rights aren't purposely being targeted, who may choose to refrain from voting for whatever reason(s) in the upcoming election.

That poster and a bunch of other people have been constantly saying that people that don't vote are privileged. I'm assuming they're posting in good faith so I thought I'd correct it.

To be honest, if I were in Warren's position, I'd have done the same - even if Tara Reade is telling the truth, which I suspect she is. We flip flop now, we lose. Even a hint of instability will cost us the election, Trump has his support on lockdown as people rally around the flag.

Biden was virtually nobody's first choice, but it's him or Trump. Biden or irreverislble, fast-moving climate change. Biden or a full-blown slide into kakistocracy.
