Guitarist for Pink Floyd. This was an absolute no brainier for me. The guy doesn't tour often, and will likely be his last tour.
What shows have you paid a pretty penny for?

Essentially this, yeah.gotta love how all my favorite bands have tickets that cost no more than like $50 with fees. Mostly <$30. Can't imagine maxing a credit card to go see one.
Definitely aware. Actually am hoping he pulls out maybe one or two from his first solo records. But even if not, I actually am a fan of the Gilmour led era anyway. I caught him on his last tour, lower level at back of United Center in Chicago, unfortunately missed encore and like half of shine on in second half.Hope you know what you're getting into, OP lmao. He suggested he is likely playing very little in the way of 70s (i.e. peak/Roger Waters) Floyd songs this tour - setlist is probably going to be mostly his solo stuff plus a couple songs from the Syd Barrett era and Momentary Lapse of Reason/Division Bell.
I saw him last tour (2015?) and enjoyed the show for what it was, even if very solo-heavy, hearing him sing and play a handful of classics was worth it. The best time to have caught Gilmour would have been back in 2006, before Richard Wright died.
I saw Paul McCartney too a few years ago but I paid like 170 per ticket.I saw Paul McCartney for like $300 for 2. I think that was the most expensive ticket I ever had.
edit: wow there are a bunch of us in this thread heh
