Baldurs Gate 3 Raphael, spoiler tag below.

The sheer fact that you go through the whole game with this guy just popping up and being cryptic and dramatic, and when you finally fight him after breaking into his house *in hell* and finding out it's basically a demonic sex dungeon /museum of high powered magical stuff. He catches you, and busts out into his own disney villain song as he fights you. Singing about your whole journey with him thus far and how he's going to kill you now.

If you didn't figure it out or really listen to the "Raphael's Final Act" yes, it's the characters VA singing the verses and he's just a devil prince disney villain and it's incredible. Also the song just absolutely slaps.

I have two examples in mind:

Omega Rugal in The King of Fighters 98 (and even 94):

Yami in Okami, to be more precise the last part of the fight, when everybody finally learns of Amaterasu's true nature and she regains all her power, then "The Sun Rises" plays:

And as a bonus, the scene just before that last fight against Yami because I really like that moment.

Edit: I forgot this one, one boss that I've never fought before but that I know of, Dizzy, in Guilty Gear X, with her theme "Awe of She":

How the FUCK hasn't anyone mentioned Hi-Fi Rush yet? Almost every boss fight in that is the very definition of the theme of this thread.

Octopath Traveler 2 - Final Boss
The YouTube title spoils the final boss name which is also the title of the track, just fyi.

The part at 2:08 where the singer just belts it out at the top of his lungs.... always gets me hyped up. Not too many games have a solo male singing opera as the primary part of a song, and OT2 had it for the final boss no less. Amazing.

Final Fantasy VI's Dancing Mad/Kefka fight is the one that always comes to mind. 4 different phases with music unlike anything I'd heard on the console before, and a final boss descent/intro that ties all the way back to the game's title screen. Just an amazing experience that for me is the best of the best, elevated tenfold by the soundtrack.

Its one of those games where you can't help but appreciate how much the music elevates everything.

I'll give anything Gareth Coker works on a shot.

And as you climb towards this boss fight you're hearing this distant background theme growing louder and louder as you near.

Just... perfection. Real chills when I reached this boss for the first time.

I'd say the final bosses for the Sonic Adventure games qualify. The fights aren't very good mechanically but damn do they feel awesome because of the music.

And this might be the least known Dracula battle music, but it absolutely elevated a fairly by the numbers rework of the original game's last fight.

I would go back to re-fight De Rol Le just to hear the boss music. Kind of an annoying fight, but that music.

This made an obnoxious fight feel like the climax of an anime season. This is one of the all time greats.
