Yap, yapper, yapping.
I work with kids in a volunteer capacity, so I'm always learning new slang. I obviously know the word, but it's pretty funny in current usage. Since the position is more of a "teaching/mentor" role, I'm a certified yapper. It's used in fun. I know it can be used more maliciously, but I find it fun in this context.
It's funny because when I first starting hearing this word it was like a blast from the past. It reminds of old Irish/Italian grandpas in a dive bar shooting the shit, not Gen Alpha kids lol.
Tine is a circle.
