No poll because there's just too damn many, but if you had to ask me right now: I'd go with this one:

That's gotta suck for Rangers fans.. to be ONE strike away and then just collapse.

But damn, it was exciting.

Midwest USA
Jose Rijo coming out to the mound with the bases loaded. Struck out the last batters to win the game. This was his return season to the Reds in like 01-02. I was at the game because it was a bobblehead night. Crowd went nuts.

A PK save followed by a counter to *get promoted to the EPL*. Utterly insane sequence with an extremely low probability of happening.

Correction: It was a semi-final. Still ridiculous.

Aaron Boone in '03 in the height of the rivalry will always be a super memorable moment for me. Also the two walkoffs in the 2001 world series even if the Yankees didn't end up winning the series. After 9/11 it was much needed

Probably the 2021 World Series where the Astros cap off the series with a third straight come from behind victory.
That 4 run error in the bottom of the 9th inning of game 7 was something else.

The two-run homer in the 12th during game 4 of the 2004 American League Championship. Sox would end up reverse-sweeping the series and eventually winning the World Series.

I don't even like the Patriots or the Seahawks, but that Patriots-Seahawks Super Bowl was wild. I was jumping up and down after that Malcolm Butler interception and screaming even without a team to root for, haha. Just having that play happen in such an enormous game when I was 99% certain the Seahawks were going to win was amazing to watch.

As much ill will as I hold against Manchester City, it's kinda hard to beat AGUEROOOOOOO for sheer drama. Just everything about it is too good. Here's a pretty good breakdown for the non-soccer fan:

Alisson Becker coming forward and scoring a 95th minute winner to essentially save Liverpool's chances of a top 4 finish last season.

There is probably some recency bias here but you could tell how much it meant to the whole team, also knowing Alisson had recently lost his father in an accident. One of my favourite moments in football.

Watching all 5 hours and 53 minutes of the 2012 Australian Open tennis final between Nadal and Djokovic was pretty nuts. Both struggled to stand during the awards ceremony and applause broke out when they brought them chairs.

Manchester United/Bayern champions league final turnover - not only crazy to watch, but ever since its made the last couple of minutes of any close game tense for me
