Haven't bought anything Karbach since they sold to AB.
That was an insult to my city when they did that.
They're pretty gross. It's okay seltzer with the aftertaste of really cheap neutral alcohol. The best ones are only better than the others because they better hide that alcohol taste, not because they're actually good. That said they're good to have on hand for friends who want to drink but are picky about other types of alcohol. I'm not going to pick them myself but I've bought plenty for others.
Other than being easy to drink, I think it also doesn't give you a super bad hangover either, because of all the water in it.
My experience with those seltzers is that they taste OK when ice cold, they're skunky slightly warm and disgusting.

The sweat from devil's taint? My sister drinks that stuff, it smells so foul.
Yah...I still buy some Hopadillo occasionally, they were dead to me when they stopped selling Sympathy for the Lager.
A majority of the ones I tried smell bad, and some have a weird aftertaste, but there are a couple out there that are pretty good ngl
Never had one, but I figure if I already hate lacroix and other flavored seltzer I'd probably dislike the boozy version.
