What's your PSN Trophy level?

I've never really paid much attention to this before, but I noticed that mine is higher than most of my PSN friends, despite the fact I still have 0 plats lol

So I was wondering what level everyone else is at?

I'm level 335

Is this something you like watching go up?

Do you even know what your level is without needing to look it up?

Who on Era has the highest level? Do any of us here actually play games?

I'm at 317 with 43 platinums. I feel quite good about it, I only started collecting a few years ago. I primarily played Xbox before so I only had some stray trophies here and there in various games I tried out on my brother's PS consoles. But since the launch of the PS5 I made the switch and started trophy hunting.

Yeah I have no idea how it's calculated

I just have 2 friends that love going for plats, both have 30 plus and I can tell both are mildly annoyed that I have 0 and yet am higher level than them lol

I suspect if you just want to watch your level go up, it's probably faster to just play games and beat the story and move on, vs going for the plat (which is generally how I play)

You would think that someone with a ton of plats should be a much higher level than someone with none though

Kind of debating doing something special for reaching 300 platinums. Make the trophy name match the occasion, do a giveaway, or something.

Edit: WTF, 614 GAMES?! I know I've been getting trophies since Dec. 2011, but damn, that's like 50ish games a years.

Yeah, I always felt like the obfuscation there made it a lot less exciting than gamerscore. With gamerscore it's fun to see it pass certain big thresholds like the 10,000s or even 100,000s since you know that a game is 1000 and individual achievements are typically 5/10/15/25/50/100, but with trophy levels it's just kind of... I hit lv100? How many bronze/silver/gold trophies is that? What does it even mean?

Oh, and I'm at lv154 with 512 trophies and 3 platinums (almost 4 if I would just finish the last few I have in P5R). This is a fairly new account though because I refuse to pay for a name change and don't buy stuff digitally on Playstation anyways so who cares.
