That's what they're actually trying to do, yeah. Let people forget about their biggest failure ever and make some money in the process.
I love the Wii U but I also want more people to play these games.

This list would allow me to sell every stationary Nintendo system. NES+SNES are covered by Analogues FPGA systems, but I would probably keep the Gamecube for the GBA Player (works great on modern displays with GCHD and Gameboy Interface).

I think my remaining Wii U games are the 2 Zelda HD remakes, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Wonderful 101. While ideally all of them will eventually get ported over the one I want the most is TMS.
I'd buy a W101 port day one.
Id also be highly likely to buy 3D World.
Nintendo Land also seriously needs more attention, great party game. Not really possible to port that one though.

I'd realy like Super Mario 3D World but with online supprt for all 4 players

Mario 3D World is my top pick. Playing it with Wii Remotes with Dpads was terrible. Everyone having a Joycon fixes that issue. Only issue is the touch screen/mic sections but I bet they can be patched.
Xenoblade X would be very nice though as well.
