Who do you think is the most recognizable female video game character invented this century?

That's completely missing my point lol. Just because Isabelle is from a Nintendo franchise doesn't make her any less recognizable than a character who has appeared on multiple platforms.

I know we always get posters here/online in general who take pride in not knowing things, so they'll be like"Cloud Strife? Never heard of him", but I guarantee that a hell of a lot of people who don't really care for Nintendo at all will recognize the default Splatoon character.

Saber(Artoria) is likely instantly recognizable by anyone remotely into weeb stuff in Japan but I'm not sure she's that well known outside of it.
Paimon is a literal who for anyone that doesn't play Genshin.

I'm confused here. Is there any difference between her and other characters that appear in Fortnight? I'm assuming that is the Chun-Li from Street Fighter.

It's just Chun-li from Street Fighter. I don't know why they included it but because they did, I picked it because it's probably been seen and played by way more people than several of those characters combined.
They included it on the list because it's a meme. There was a porn hub list of "most searched for video game characters in 2023" and I think #10 was listed as "Chun Li from Fortnite." It's a joke answer and I don't think people are actually thinking Chun Li came from Fortnite first.
It's a meme, because her model is one of the few with a well defined butt.

- Chun-Li gyatt
- Chun-Li sus
- Chun-Li fortnite
- Chun-Li party hips
I think that 2b is popular for other reasons then her characters and I leave it at that and I would think same will be for Eve.

Difference is 2B appears in many games / gaming related discussions, Paimon literally doesn't exist outside of her own game bubble. If it wasn't because I tried the game back when it released I would have never heard of Paimon besides some passing memes.

I remember a thread like this for most iconic of the 2010's like 5 years ago or whenever and one of the poll options was Kat.
Juri hasn't been mentioned yet, and she has to be up there. Certainly not the top, but she almost immediately landed a spot as one of the most iconic characters in the SF franchise outside of the SF2 roster, which is something that has only ever really happened one other time with Sakura.

Recognizable to who? Overall? It's gonna be something Fortnite, GTA, Minecraft or Roblox related. Any other answers are wrong.
I think there needs to be a differentiate of what people we are talking about with recognizing. Almost no average person on the street will have a clue who 2b is. At the same time, there is a good chance many would know Isabelle or Minecraft Alex or Chica, etc.
Out of these, it's gottta be Saber. It's on a insanely popular mobile game, and it's also very popular among anime fans.
It's a non factor outside those, sure, but that's still more than can be said about the other poll choices.

Yeah I'm not getting the Ellie mentions. She has two very different designs and both are equally 'normal white girl'. Memorable character, absolutely, but I don't know what about her is so recognizable.
"No one on the street would" is such a funny argument because it's absolutely correct, but people always follow it up with characters from their own bubble people apparently would recognize. I guarentee you they wouldn't either.
I literally laughed. Even with an HBO show the average person is not going to have any fucking clue who she is. We show how much of a bubble we all live in here sometimes.

I had a urologist a few years ago, and a few times went in with a zelda hat. She saw it and immediately told me about her kids and her being obsessed with the switch. Zelda, Splatoon, AC, etc. I think some of you underestimate nintendo characters.
