This will be WB Animations 3rd flop in a row. If they went through a reconstruction after the Lego movies I expect them to go through another one soon. Idk how long they can keep surviving like this.

It mean, Black Widow handily slaughtered Space Jam by any meaningful metric so I'm not sure what that would say about Black Widow, that's expected.
What's hilarious to me is that it's Snake Eyes opening weekend, and it can't even have a story about it doing bad for people to care about that at least. Focus is still on other films.
I mean, the thing to remember here is these are all bad films
Suicide Squad will be a very interesting case. The excitement around that film seems rather quiet.
Lego Movie 2 and Scoob had high quality CG close to $100M. Add LeBron, who isn't cheap, and that budget makes sense.

Ehhhh, I'd wager In The Heights and even GvK aren't bad films per say.
Oh right, I'm sure Heights is fine, though it seemed to vanish pretty quickly
Regarding GvM, the action scenes are so good that it helps one forgot how awful the human scenes are.
Somehow they made them even worse than KoTM.
Really hard to call these HBO and Disney movie bombs when we don't know what the expectations are. Like double the budget clearly doesn't apply anymore, when they're using these to drive subs too.
You know it's fucked when even Back in Action is looking like less of a commercial disaster.

Eh, you can't win them all. IMO GI Joe would work better as an ultraviolent tv show aimed purely at adult fans ala Resolute.
All considered its not god awful, but not great on a 200M budget.
