Eh. Brolin as young TLJ made sense but plotwise, it's a mess. How was that one men in black movie, where Thanos replaced Tommy Lee Jones?
all men in black 2 references from this point on will be reported
Solo: A Star Wars Story.
Good weather and the World Cup also affectedAMATW was super frontloaded. I wonder if maybe there just wasn't any real hunger for it, especially after IW and BP.
Evangeline Lilly's cool and all, but I want to live in the alternate dimension where Rashida Jones accepted the role insteadEvangline Lily's Wasp always come off as cold for no reason too me.
No there isn't. If Wonder Woman with a critically acclaimed and culturally significant movie could'nt do it, Captain Marvel has no chance.
Don't remind me man.Evangeline Lilly's cool and all, but I want to live in the alternate dimension where Rashida Jones accepted the role instead
Deadpool 2 maybe but I remember everyone thinking Warner Bros was sending Wonder Woman to die with the lack of marketing for it. There were a lot of articles about it the month before it released. WB got pretty lucky it ended up being so successful from word of mouth mainlyAnt-Man probably spent less on marketing than Wonder Woman and Deadpool 2 though, or at least it seems like their marketing was really low-key compared to those 2 as well as compared to the typical MCU film.
Well, maybe. It definitely was true until a month prior to release, then it seemed like WW's marketing kicked into high-gear, but yeah, before then Justice League was getting more promo.Deadpool 2 maybe but I remember everyone thinking Warner Bros was sending Wonder Woman to die with the lack of marketing for it. I saw ads for it during the Stanley Cup and NBA Finals but yeah, the push didn't go in force til I wanna say after Incredibles 2 was outWell, maybe. AM&TW didn't really seem like it even got any marketing push until the last couple weeks before release once they had the premiere and press screenings and reviews went up.
Now that I think about it, is Mantis the only female hero in the MCU that isn't doing the hard as nails overly serious badass thing?Evangline Lily's Wasp always come off as cold for no reason too me.

I think Scarlet Witch is handled well, and I am one of the 5 people that like Black Widow and Hulk playing off of each other. Shuri, Valkyrie and Okoya are moneyNow that I think about it, is Mantis the only female hero in the MCU that isn't doing the hard as nails overly serious badass thing?
Feels like thats really hurt MCU Gamora in particular when she can be a really fun/wild character in the comics.

Valkyrie, Shuri, Okoye, Nakia, Witch, they're not cold as Nat or Gamora, Hope just broke it after she got her suit. Now that I think about it, is Mantis the only female hero in the MCU that isn't doing the hard as nails overly serious badass thing?

Y'know, I would totally ship Valkyrie/Okoye. That team would get shit done with a quickness then have time for each other afterwards.

And Okoye the biggest badass in MCU now. If they somehow made her bring down Thor in a film, I would buy it.
Make her worthy. And Okoye the biggest badass in MCU now. If they somehow made her bring down Thor in a film, I would buy it.
Danai destroying those dudes in the casino had the biggest crowd pop I've experienced since TDKAnd Okoye the biggest badass in MCU now. If they somehow made her bring down Thor in a film, I would buy it.
Throw in Cassie too.
My people have been in hiding since Spider-Man 3. We must be redeemed. October is ours.

Your still not gonna get the Venom you want so why do that to yourself?I will probably just watch Spider-Man 3 again in October instead of Venom.
That is the Venom I want though.Your still not gonna get the Venom you want so why do that to yourself?

That decent half doesn't feature Venom. That's a waste of time.Because at the very least he get's to watch a halfway decent movie.

That's fine but if your there for Venom you might as well just watch the last 15 minutes, but then you might as well see the solo movie.I'd rather have a decent film without a shit Venom than a shit film with a good Venom. And Venom 2018 looks like it's gonna be a shit film with a shit Venom, so...

It's an ok conclusion to Peter and Harry's story arc. It didn't matter for anyone else. The last 15 min of Spidey 3 still seems leagues more entertaining.
I hope people aren't judging venom due to a 2min trailer without effects.

Paul Rudd was in Mute. Ant-Man could have made only $50M and it still wouldn't have been the biggest L for him.
I think Tom has a great eye for scripts. He's a semi-practice actor, he wouldn't risk to not be taken seriously. That's what gives me hope. The second trailer didn't get me super excited either to be honest. As much as I love Hardy.
best part of the last 15 mins was Peter saying I forgive you sand monster man and he just went awayThe last 15 min of Spidey 3 still seems leagues more entertaining.
Yeah, Avi Arad without anyone to push against him is how we got ASM2, so I'm not very often optimistic about Venom.Has more to do with Sony's history with Spider-Man films without Marvel or decent creative like Rami or Lord & Miller in the driver's seat.
I thought he died.best part of the last 15 mins was Peter saying I forgive you sand monster man and he just went away
like thats fine Peter but that guy is a murderer/bank robber/destroyer of public property you kinda gotta bring him to justice buddy
