Spent so long trying to remember Sewadle's name. Fomantis kept coming to mind, but i knew it was wrong. Also, Tepig is the most common fire starter!? And Sprigatito is the least common grass starter?! Madness!

Regarding your spoiler

I think it was many users simply having the same idea and overthinking what they think would be the least popular pick and in doing so, making it the most popular one. I also chose Tepig for fire starter because of this given gen 5 starters are generally unpopular, something to be aware of in the future I think

I lost out quite a bit on one choice, happy otherwise.
I was going to pick Magearna for Alola Steel but thought it would be somewhat common so chose Kartana instead and lost out

I haven't kept up with pokemon enough past third gen to have any clue on most of these. And even my third gen knowledge is sketchy at best.

Cool idea though. No doubt fun for those who've got more dex knowledge than I do.

I've had a couple of busy days, but I'm back, baby. I found this one kind of tricky and had to use Urshifu twice. Also, surprised Turtonator is so high. I swear it's one of the rarest Pokemon to ever exist to the point it's extremely difficult to find someone to trade you one in SwSh.

I skipped gen 4 initially, came back with gen 5, and then skipped 8 and 9 so I have major weaknesses. I'm great on the first three gens and decent on 5, 6 and 7, but pretty bad on the rest. The Ultra Beasts also haven't stuck with me like I'd prefer so I keep forgetting them!

Really just lucked out a lot today. Wish I hadn't second-guessed myself so much though, because I originally wanted Whiscash and Mamoswine in the top row to derp out all the corners 😂

Anyway I skipped gen VI as well, and as much as I adored 90% of the mons, it's been so long I can hardly remember them.

This is quite fun, but it needs new categories fast, it's already repeating matches with so few games. Also, different forms of the same Pokemon should all have the same uniqueness score. If the idea behind uniqueness is that the player managed to think of a more obscure Pokémon, just randomly selecting a different form and getting a lower percentage undermines that. It's not a different species, come on.

I agree with this game needing new categories, but I think it's difficult to implement. About 3 weeks ago, they were trying new categories out and one of them (Legendary Trio) was controversial because it led to a lot of wrong answers. Nonetheless, there's got to be something that can be done about it.

I wanted to do a Gen 5 only today because that's one of my favourite gens, but I found it extremely difficult right away lol. Still, I managed to put both Reshiram and Zekrom in and I feel satisfied.

I was wondering the same thing and made a bold guess with Gyarados-but-pretty and succeeded! But then again this one is a bit weird in having more than one evo method and they're both kinda suspect when it comes to fitting the criteria?
