Gelo/Lavar should've swallowed their pride and just stuck around UCLA to graduate with a degree.

Melo going to Houston would shock me. Morey has been magic the last few years and this would be a big downgrade for that roster. Figured he'd have yet another trick up his sleeve after the Ariza deal.

Ariza's effort against KD almost swung that series and he's basically replacing him with a target dummy. And even as a shooter, Melo was worse than Ariza last year on less attempts.

Really the perfect off-season for Golden State so far.

Well.. Morey wanted him the previous summer. Just couldn't get it done. Agree on Ariza though, that's a huge loss for them on the defensive and toughness side of things.

I honestly don't understand why any team would sign Carmelo Anthony. Contenders should be signing guys who could potentially play during key moments in playoff games whereas lousy teams should be signing unproven players they can hopefully build around long term. There's not one team in the NBA who would be improved by signing Melo. Not one.

If he's willing to buy into the idea of playing off the bench I think there are a bunch of teams that could use him.

Melo is still good at things you want on your team. The problem is that he's been stuck with bad coaches that aren't using him right.

You mean like the same coach he is likely going to be playing for that won 65 games and could not get him to do jack shit with the Knicks? Honestly, Houston is most likely going to get him and I fucking hate this move.
