Hey it's Sally.

I liked the tv show as a kid but did I just see mother boss Cthulhu on the last page.

Heh I wonder how many people are going to watch this with the old show as their expectations.

Hopefully they keep Nick Bakay as Salem. Dark comedy suits him better than the original show, anyway.

Yeah, Hilda and Zelda won't be the family friendly comedy relief from the previous incarnations of the series.

I don't get why the cat is taking up the face part of the poster. I get that the cat was an original part of the series, but from a design perspective it's asymmetrical and awkward cause there's a giant cat shape that's just kind of tacked on in the middle of the poster. Am I missing something in the negative space there?

Im confused about the canon of this IP. So the show from the 90s I used to watch was not original? It was based on something? Is this new show continuation of said something? Reboot? Its not going to be a comedy like the one form my childhood?

Will Salem be an animatronic!?
Please say yes!

Sabrina the Teenage Witch started out as an Archie Comics character in the 60's.

She lives in Greendale whereas the Archie gang lives in Riverdale, but they live in the same world and are canon and crossover.

Sabrina was last seen hanging out with Jughead in the new reboot series.

Man, I can't freaking wait. I kinda gave up on the comics because the horrendous wait, but I know greatness takes time and I WILL catch up. I hope they find some way to honor the book's color scheme.

Is there any easy way to get caught up on the comic book?

The first 4-5 issues are free on Kindle Prime, but beyond that it doesn't look like there's a lot of cheap bundles or trade paperbacks. Just digital issues at $3/each.

I had no idea this was happening, nor that Sabrina had gotten a rebooted comic, so I'll keep my eye on this. And if it's on Netflix, no reason not to watch it...

No, it's just representing Sabrina and Salem as arguably the two most popular and important entities of the franchise.

There's like 6 issues over 5 years, nothing really to get caught up on beyond what you already have there.

Might not be. Depends what the production pipeline is. It's the same production crew as Riverdale, using the same cameras, and that show is filmed in 4K but mastered in 1080p.

Yeah, I'd imagine it will depend on what they want to spend on the special effects pipeline. If they play their cards right it could be Stranger Things-style big, so I'd hope they're going for it.

I had no idea this was based on anything other the old show, and honestly, I'm quite intrigued. This could be great?

Well damn, I guess you're right. Only 8 issues have been published since 2014 -- what the hell is going on over at Archie Comics?

I guess the TV show will be pretty much out of material to adapt after just a handful of episodes.

There are only 8 issues right now. You can get the rest for like .99 cents on Comixology. #9 won't be out until later this year.

I saw the poster in a facebook page from a mexican comic publisher and I thought it was the comic. It's still great, and besides, they are publishing Archie comics so I hope they publish this series soon.

I'm excited for this, but mostly because I'm so tired of waiting for the next issue of the comic.

Just got caught up on Riverdale, I'm pumped for this. Riverdale lost me mid way through S2 but it ramped up hard a few episodes after the lull. Hoping they can get some kind of crossover going

I was too young for the original Sabrina, but my family were huge fans.
I'll probably watch it with them *excited*

Those comic panels get me really excited. Never sat down and watched the original. Just bits and pieces.
