Two words: I'm in.Anyone expecting a grounded adventure for this show haven't read the chilling adventures of Sabrina comics.
Two words: Eldritch Abominations.
Might not be. Depends what the production pipeline is. It's the same production crew as Riverdale, using the same cameras, and that show is filmed in 4K but mastered in 1080p.
So hyped. The comic is soooooo good. This is based on the comic. The showrunner for this show was in charge of Riverdale, and the Chilling Adventures comic.
This comic gets fucking dark, and creepy. It's great.
I liked the tv show as a kid but did I just see mother boss Cthulhu on the last page.
My sentiments exactly.Hoping this is better than Riverdale which went all the way off the cliff in season 2.
I don't mind outlandish crazy shit, as long as it's good.
That's some good ass artFor those unaware of the comics, this is the shit we should be getting.

Hopefully they keep Nick Bakay as Salem. Dark comedy suits him better than the original show, anyway.
Im confused about the canon of this IP. So the show from the 90s I used to watch was not original? It was based on something? Is this new show continuation of said something? Reboot? Its not going to be a comedy like the one form my childhood?
Will Salem be an animatronic!?Please say yes!
If the confusion in this thread is anything to go by, the reaction to the show is going to be wild.Heh I wonder how many people are going to watch this with the old show as their expectations.
shit if its anything like this i might watch my first netflix show. For those unaware of the comics, this is the shit we should be getting.

I don't get why the cat is taking up the face part of the poster. I get that the cat was an original part of the series, but from a design perspective it's asymmetrical and awkward cause there's a giant cat shape that's just kind of tacked on in the middle of the poster. Am I missing something in the negative space there?
Damn. Never was a big fan of the original show but I'm definitely interested in this one if it's anything like that. For those unaware of the comics, this is the shit we should be getting.

Is there any easy way to get caught up on the comic book?
The first 4-5 issues are free on Kindle Prime, but beyond that it doesn't look like there's a lot of cheap bundles or trade paperbacks. Just digital issues at $3/each.

Well damn, I guess you're right. Only 8 issues have been published since 2014 -- what the hell is going on over at Archie Comics? There's like 6 issues over 5 years, nothing really to get caught up on beyond what you already have there.
