Not having any sort of forward compatibility, so losing access to 656 PokemonOk, so this game keeps looking better and better.
Other than you not having to fight/weaken Pokemon to catch them, what else is different from the main series?
This seems to be a remake of Blue/Red/Yellow but with those changes and some others, but is that the biggest?
Dude, the poke ride are litteraly substitute for HM, I don't get your point :v
Yeah, before. But it can't now though. There's rocks blocking everything around cycling road.
nghhhhSeems like they fixed the scale of Pokemon compared to SM. Onix actually looks huge next to Brock and Pikachu now.
Honestly, the biggest troll since "The Battle Frontier Project has started"I love how they thought it was necessary to explicitly say the rival wouldn't be an asshole like blue.
I think you're confusing rumors and GamefreakThey already said Red & Blue are part of the plot, so why would you have a knockoff blue when the real deal is part of the game?
Wait the SS Anne is in a lake, not the ocean? It can't even reach the ocean if it wanted to
You people are all so hung up on the rival. At least wait until they pussify Team Rocket first.

It's a Japanese art aesthetic called "chibi." I find it pretty charming.
This isn't a tiny screen game like the other handheld games, so I'm not sure why they thought it's a good idea to make human heads this huge.
Nobody thinks Magmar is a neat guy. Look at him. lolThe way co-op works is still really upsetting me. It's like the one thing that actually made this interesting for me. I get that, maybe you have a young kid that doesn't play many games so you wanna hop in and help them, or maybe you have a boyfriend that's too cool for videogames but thinks magmar is a neat guy and wants to give this one a whirl so you walk him through the experience.

Its a given the game corner in celadon is being reworked but i cant think of how they would alter anything rocket further
Instead of invading Silph they take candy from Duplica and you need to chase them around saffron?
ding ding ding
Cerulean Gym looks fucking AMAZING now like holy shit. I can't believe people are knocking on the world design.
It is an artistic decision.

Dude, Duplica appearing in the games? That sounds awesome! Its a given the game corner in celadon is being reworked but i cant think of how they would alter anything rocket further

I don't want a knock off Blue, I just don't think Pokemon does 'friendly' rivals well. I liked Cheren and Bianca, but the Gen 6 and 7 rivals were awful, especially Hau.They already said Red & Blue are part of the plot, so why would you have a knockoff blue when the real deal is part of the game?

Magmar is the 5th best Pokemon in this game, behind Pikachu, Machamp, Arbok, and Parasect.

Uh excuse me. Magmar is dope.
Tho, havent they been removing casino like stuff from games since like 4 generations ago?
Despite being mostly targeted to newcomers and Pokémon GO players, I continue to think that it seems nice and could be quite a good game, waiting for the next generation. About the graphics, I think it's their choice so use a design which is more similar to ORAS than Sun & Moon because it suits better the purpose of this game - and I don't find it bad, I'm sure it will make a great impression on the handheld screen.
My only doubt is: how will the poor S.S. Anne be able to get the ocean?

I would actually be 100% down with not just the Team Rocket trio, but all of the anime characters appearing in this game. That'd be a real nostalgia trip not just for people who played RBY but also for people who watched the anime. And it'd give the game more of an identity and reason to exist.

I can't believe taste this bad exists. You all disappoint me.
Because every other aspect of the game is basically the same? You know there's a point re: rival discussion that people are overlooking.
This isn't Red or "Leaf" in the protagonist role. They've been very clear on that. So... why would Blue be their rival to begin with? And more importantly why would or should Chase act exactly like his predecessor? The character needs to be a clone? Seriously?

Like cut the crap. When not-Red saves Bill from a teleportation mishap, battles on the S.S. Anne, calms Marowak's angry ghost, stops Team Rocket from taking over Silph Co., etc, do you still think that's a "new character"?
You don't need a time machine to be realistic. Can I borrow your time machine to see all these events in game?
